The Sets: Your Fave and Least Fave PC Real Estate

Recommended Posts

Today's cabin set looked very familiar but I can't place it. Does anyone know?

To me it looks like the cabin where Michael killed Claudia Z.  I keep expecting to see an axe handle.

Since we have all been complaining about the grey sets, I noticed that it may be an ABC thing. The only other ABC show I watch is Nashville where almost all the major characters have grey walls in their homes.

Was the set Julian, Alexis, and Sam were in Fri new?

It had the typical gray paint and white and black furniture, but at leaat there were wood accents.   It was a Christmas mirical!

They immediately got rid of the Tinker Toy Brownstone from last year, at least part of it is Julexis' new Senior Sex Den.

I liked that makeshift brownstone, but clearly Frank (and Ron) immediately lost interest.

I loved Anna's cottage.

Do you mean the little house she had with the flowery wallpaper, or that place out in the woods (where Duke walked in on her and Robert in bed, joking about a deliberately disgusting breakfast she made Robert)?     Both were very cute.

Although, as a child, I kind of really wanted to live in the Quartermaine mansion ...

The walls at Lulu's (or is it Maxie's? Wherever Lulu was receiving people like Olivia and Laura) literally hurt my eyes. That deep blue/black pattern.

They used to have a really nice wallpaper in that apartment. Mad they replaced it for no reason!

I mean the place where they hide Duke during Mr.B storyline. But I also liked the house with the wallpaper and pictures.

My favorites are all in the past...

Robert Scorpio's apartment: I wasn't even watching at the time but it was cool. I don't know exactly how functional was but as a set I totally dug it. Of course an International Man of Mystery like Robert F'n Scorpio would have an apartment like that.

Kevin's Lighthouse: I loved the concept of it being somewhat isolated... even if I couldn't think too hard about what body of water it was sitting on. Still, I liked the idea of Kevin living outside of Port Charles proper, it really seemed to suit him as he was back then. Also, his collection of globes... I would love that for myself if I had the room. Maybe someday.

Mine too are in the past.  Robert's townhouse was fantastic.  It was a modern structure and then Holly added English traditional furniture.  They recreated the set from photos.  Tristan Rogers said they got rid of the entire set and there were no floor plans.

I don't remember Kevin's lighthouse - could it have been Bill Eckert's lighthouse originally.  That was a very expensive set.  I loved Luke's casino in the early 80's.  That was some set and very authentic looking.  The Governor's mansion was another elaborate set.  Other than the Scorpio townhouse, I give props to the set designer who did Luke's club when it was exotic and Moroccan.   Alan and Monica had a very glamorous bedroom suite.
