Although, I thought it was a little edgy for the woman to say they should be labeled as terrorists, so good for her.

The yodeler had some skillz for real tho.

I think the terrorism comment was specifically about the vehicular attack, which even the Attorney General/Elf Lord labelled as such.

Michelle is wrong on one point though: a yodelling ventriloquism act absolutely does not make a woman less attractive.

I was disappointed in the Idris Elba interview. He was very awkward and not all that charming. I love him as an actor, and I've never seen him interviewed before, so I don't know if he's normally like this.

Another thing I was disappointed in: Yesterday morning on Twitter I saw people talking about the Ted Cruz porn Like, so I was scanning thru his list of Likes to find it. Unfortunately, I was too late, and it had been deleted. Anywho, I loved the graphic "The Wanking Ted."

That Japanese masturbating machine was disturbing. I do not want to google.

One of the main reasons Japan is pretty much out there when it comes to superstition, beliefs, and culture. Not to mention being lead contenders to video game marketing. As far as Asian countries, Japan remains my must place to visit in the near future.

I liked Roy's piece on the ESPN lady. I didn't know they were friends, so the tapes were really funny. If ESPN did fire her, then there well within their purview to do that. I don't think they will since she didn't say it on the show, and tweeted as a private citizen on her own time. Having the press secretary in her official capacity saying she should be fired is now the official administration opinion, and just not the place to make that statement.

I also like how the obviously weak conservative opinion kneejerk was so typically weak. I mean, we probably could list about 100 instances each here.

The other part is that it's actually true, and one can take the president's own statements to support it.

Anyone who's seen Idiocracy knows that a Kid Rock presidency isn't that far-fetched. Especially considering what we've got now.

I'm reminded of that movie way too frequently in everyday life.

Desi's piece was really top notch. Funny and infuriating. I'm 12, so I cracked up at "three holes are only good for one thing" mostly because the guy didn't get the joke.

I am 100% opposed to the wall, but I would laugh a good one if the federal government seized the golf course on eminent domain and they guy lost his business. I cannot figure out how you can vote for someone who wants to ruin your life.

Actually, I can. The guy was so blinded by his own hate and bigotry that he was completely ignorant to the reality around him. There's no way anyone with an ounce of sense would come to the conclusion that the wall was metaphorical.

Metaphorical, no.  But he had a point when he recognized that Trump is a salesman -- he says what people want to hear.  In other words, he lies.  At this point, it's probably safer to assume Trump is just fronting when he speaks, and pay attention to the machinery of government rather than the tweets and the speeches.

Loved the ep last night. Trevor's whole thing with Lindsay Graham practicing saying he was a tiger was hilarious. I liked it better than Jon Stewart doing the Lindsay-as-Souther-belle bit.

And Lewis Black was the best ever. I wish his video would go viral.

I wonder if the crosses to Jordan at the end of the show going to continue. They bring to mind the glory days of Jon's crosses to Stephen when The Colbert Report used to follow TDS. I wouldn't be mad if they continued doing them.

Beneath the wealth, business acumen, and media savvy veneer, Bill Gates is still a dork at heart, isn't he. Bless him. (And Melinda.)

I strongly suspect they will since everything I've seen of the new show suggests that there are a lot of CC execs involved trying to copy TCR as closely as possible no matter if it makes sense or not. And the toss is something that actually makes sense so I can't see why they wouldn't do it.

Also it made sense to think he wouldn't be able to try to build it, that congress, his advisors and the bureaucratic red tape would keep him from building the wall.

My favorite part was when he said the one thing that bothered him about Trump was Trump driving on the green.

Jordan's show looks so blatantly derivative that I actually feel embarrassed for him. I have not enjoyed the tosses, and I did used to enjoy the Jon-Stephen ones. I suspect they will continue to do them, but it's making me even less interested in watching the new show.

What made TDS/TCR tosses so  charming and beloved was the obvious friendship between Jon and Stephen.   I read that the reason that they stopped doing tosses was that they were a major PIA to pull off, but one always got the sense during the toss that da boyz were having a ton of fun interacting with each other.  Trevor and Jordan simply don't convey that same chemistry.   I've come to really like Trevor, and I feel pretty much the same way about Jordan as I did about Jason Jones - I'm generally not all that amused by the schtick, but occasionally each does/did something pretty awesome.  But Trevor and Jordan go together like peanut butter and sushi.  If the tosses really are a technical challenge to pull off, I suspect they will be around for a week or two to launch Jordan's show, and then they will disappear.

I've been tuning out after the second segment, before the interview, so I had no idea there were doing a toss. I've missed the Moment of Zen. I agree with @Hooper that what made the Jon & Stephen tosses good was how much they enjoy each other.
