PreviouslyTV 4.7k August 22, 2016 Aasif Mandvi has guest-starred in the Law & Order franchise a lot. Like, even more than you remember. View the full article 2 Share this post Link to post
ChlcGirl 2.5k August 22, 2016 Law & Order is the modern day Love Boat or Fantasy Island. Which is why I love it so utterly. Share this post Link to post
Muffyn 12.0k August 22, 2016 That was a great edit. Aasif has done many jobs from the stereotypical cab driver and street meat vendor to the forensics expert and judge. Along the way there were some very unfortunate facial hair choices. Share this post Link to post
wknt3 4.0k August 22, 2016 It would be interesting to see a compilation of all the guest bits from Daily Show cast members. There were enough of them. Especially towards the end of the run when it seemed that they were the casting director's go to source whenever they needed an obnoxious publicity whore to make trouble for the cops/DAs. I can't recall if he was ever on the Mothership, but Stephen Colbert did a rather credible job as a perp on Law & Order: Criminal Intent all the way back in Season 3. He rather surprised me. GHScorpiosRule 37.0k August 22, 2016 No, Stephen Colbert was never on the mothership. In addition to Mandvi, Samantha Bee was on-her hubby, Jason played a recurring Fox-News type reporter who was always shoving his mic in Jack's face. Kristen Schall I think was only on SVU. I find it very interesting that when comedians appeared on their show/franchise, they played serious characters or assholes or murderers. 2 Share this post Link to post

Also Rob Corddry was the asshole behind the "corrective social action" website, Dan Bakkedahl was in one of the forgettable episodes with Milena Govich, a young Lewis Black was a porn director questioned by Cerreta and later was on SVU, Nate Corddry was on one of the spinoffs, Mo Rocca was on both of them, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
