    S01.E11: We Continue to Truck

Keyword: Seems. I don't like the David twist, but her moving her kids in with some guy she has known for, what, three weeks? It's gross, and it makes me sad that kids would find this normal. Take David out of the equation, she should say no either way. The whole proposal is gross. And I am rooting for this guy! I like him! It's just too much , too soon. And when it involves kids, yuck. I don't think David really changed her mind, I think she realized it was insane on her own. When she ran around the Lunch Box counter, laughing and then crying, I loved her. I want to throw another Emmy onto her mantelpiece.

Have they mentioned yet, that in the series finale, Becky and Mark were expecting a child? They didn't want to detract from David and Darlene's bundle of joy, but they were definitely knocked up.

Except she basically proved she can't hold a job and has nowhere to live, and can't even blame this mistake on being young. The girl can't cut it outside of Stars Hollow, but thankfully Richard is dead and can't see how much she washed up. No, Rory is Lorelai's problem forever and here comes the next generation.

S06.E04: Big Sauce and Coconut Water

I love watching the core cast respond to new characters. But I would like some follow up. Did Regina deciding she could drink in moderation actually work out? And what about Natasha, who is supposed to be working at the restaurant they eat at. And why did they lose Chef Rudy? I have no problem with Tammy, but I do wonder why old characters were just dropped. And what about Bonnie's brother Ray?? The only characters I am glad are gone are the kids. They are better off far from Christy.

I hate the language. Emily always knew how to use her words and would never reduce herself to swearing to get her point across. I know it has switched from network TV to Netflix, but the swearing seems so out of place.

    S01.E01: Winter

After finishing them all, I think showcasing every character that was ever on this show is the only point to this revival thing. Good to know everyone still sucks (except Lane and Zack) and the Gilmore girls are the absolute worst. Rory cannot accomplish anything without constant privilege and handouts, and Loreali is still running for the hills when anything bothers her. Rory having no qualms about cheating with Logan makes me hate her even more.

I don't blame Melissa McCarthy for not coming back to this dreck. I can't stop watching, but I can't look directly at Lauren Graham and her wretched face job. Edward Hermann is cackling from his grave. Kelly Bishop is so thin! She looks like a bobble head.

Well, I hated it. I LOVED how many people came back for this..... But Loreali looks like a freak and acts as selfish and wretched as she did in the original series. Why does this town worship her when she just orders everyone around? And she and Luke are looking to have a baby? What the heck have they been doing for ten years? Aren't they cornering on 50? What a stupid plot hole to bring in Paris. And Rorie is now a complete jerk who can't find decent work and sleeps around. The series groomed her to do wonderful things and she just became a monster. The writer has clearly lost track of the characters.

S06.E05: Flying Monkeys and a Tank of Nitrous

It was when Christy got pneumonia. She was so awesome in that episode. Last week Wendy was super snarky, and this week she spoke up again, I wonder if the writers are finally building something up for her character.

I have done hospice for a few family members now, and I get it too. That weird sense of peace and relief that it's over, and they are free, and now you are free. Christy doesn't get it. She hasn't been there. She is waiting for the other shoe to drop. But it's sweet how Marjorie has a good cry at the end. And Adam wearing the tracksuit? Precious!

Characters You've Changed Your Mind About

I am watching season 5, and Rory is interning for some bigwig newspaper guy, and he tells her she isn't cut out to be a journalist. So, fast forward 11 years and guess what! She doesn't have what it takes to be a successful journalist. Plus, she is trampling men just like her mommy did and is incredibly selfish and annoying. It's strange to like a show titled Gilmore Girls when I can't actually stand the Gilmore girls.

Characters You've Changed Your Mind About

Honestly, I think all of the characters suck, but that doesn't mean they aren't entertaining. But my biggest problem is Lorelai. She is cute and pretty and the adopted daughter of a small town and shows it. Her constant ramblings and whimpers and whines and pouts are exhausting. Sometimes she is funny, but mostly I find her exhausting, and I think she resembles her mother more than she would like. Emily is a bully, but at at least when she demands and commands what she wants, she doesn't pout to do it. Lor acts like a child so much of the time and it's embarrassing to watch. She uses and abuses Luke regularly and takes what she wants wherever she can. And her demands were always indulged and rewarded throughout the town. It's no wonder her daughter had all of that potential and derailed her entire life and is now a 33 year old knocked up mess. The Gilmore family was just despicable. I am over on Lane and Ms. Kim's side of the storylines. They were hilarious. ETA: I also find it annoying that the Gilmore girls eat so much. Every episode is about two hot chicks eating like pigs and spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on food but never gain an ounce. Is that supposed to be charming?

    S02.E10: Number Three

Eh, I think if a set of parents want more kids, they never consult the kids and that's normal. Teaching these girls to think about a world that isn't perfectly in their control, and how to love on others is a wonderful lesson. I doubt they are terribly messed up about losing Randall's attention and now getting it back. To me, they are supposed to trust their parents, not be considered equals with their own vote. Kids get relocated all the time in the military, on the mission field, etc, and it's an incredible life lesson. No life is perfect, but there are worse ones. Personally, I like that they were expected to rise to the occasion and they did. They know their parents had their back, time to help someone else.

    S02.E10: Number Three

I don't blame the family for not noticing his spiral, but I feel for Kevin, only because he seems to hate himself more than anyone else does, and that leads nowhere. He KNOWS he is behaving like an ungrateful loser, but he can't find a moment in the family dramas to ask for some help. He'd have it if he would.

    S02.E10: Number Three

I don’t think he necessarily meant material things literally but more as a shorthand for being successful in life. Like, encouragement to do her best and make good choices. I think it was a reminder of a previous unseen conversation they may have had. I don’t think he’s that shallow, just enjoying the fruits of his labor. I think he is just dangling a carrot to give her a dream to get out of the system. Maybe it's aiming too high to think she can have those things, but you aren't suppose to catch the carrot, just strive for it. He just doesn't want her story to be "I grew up in the system and I let it eat me alive." Everything Randall does is overblown.
