Sandra is the MVP of the 2nd part of this season so far. Hilarious! I agree with @EarlGreyTea that this episode was something we've alreadyy seen before. There is very little progress for these people stuck in a boring job and I expect that this dullness is on purpose, but they have to give us something fresh soon.

    S17.E02: The Future Is Here

"The future is monochromatic" - whoever said that should have been sent home. I love prints and pattern and am really disappointed that designers on this show deferr to the same solid colours over and over again. Textile and printing technology, along with the chemical components needed to give us bright and full colours of all shades, has improved so much over the last two decades and there are designers like Mary Katrantzou whose career was kickstarted by her use of modern prints. Luckily for me, the next episode seems to be right up that street. This episode was great though. Button bag, great modern challenge, 2 day challenge, team spirit and no poking them about 'who of your team do you think should go home/deserve the win'. Love the judges, but I liked the pants look better than the winning dress (which reminded me of S5 winner Leanne). They were right to send Frankie home, what a mess.

    The Good Fight

I live Michael Sheen. I dunno what the Kings are smoking, but they managed to make Elsbeth look like the sanest character on the show after introducing Blum. That poor judge. "Stories beat facts everytime" - so true, thats the tagline of the media climate these days. I'm not sure all the new tricks from the editing and directing bag are to my taste.

    S07.E12: Modern Families

This whole season can be summarised by an exasperated sigh and an eye roll. And here is how the finale is gonna go down: Bidell and one other will be top 2, they will fawn over Bidell, emphasize that its a really close call and then choose the American designer.

    The Great British Sewing Bee

Oh I would love to have coats in the style and colour of Riccardo and Jen's designs. Unfortunately for me, I can't wear wool or linen. But I love me some stripes (actually wearing a breton shirt right now), and really enjoyed the whimsey transformation challenge. Poor Janet - in any other week her stuff would have been enough to see her through - Leah had a lucky escape again. For me, I would have preferred larger patches, like the one on the back , throughout because the smaller ones on the bottom looked weird.

    The Good Fight

They went right back in at the deep end, didn't they? I'm so happy this show is back. And how gorgeous did Christine Baranski look in that hot pink pant suit (and in the yellow dressing gown)? Fancensca singing 'I wanna be sedated' to Luca's baby was so funny. Not buying the Maya story yet, but I'm curious where it will lead I have to laugh everytime they use the chumhum search What's with the NDA song? that was a bit OOC.

    S17.E01: Premiere

I instantly felt that they successfully reset the tone of the show back to what it was in the first 6 seasons. There were still bouts of personal drama and annoying personalities but they didn't push it too much in the edit. The judges and Christian seem very pleasant and have a grasp of the current state of and trends in fashion and even Karlie did an ok job (LOL at the shot where she hugs Christian and his head was next to her boob 😉 They had 45 minutes to shop and a 2 day challenge! The flash challenge is a good upgrade to hit the current soft spots between social media and fast fashion. I liked the Kick-Off runway and I hope they keep it for the upcoming seasons. The topic of the week was set up nicely - it was great, after 16 seasons, to finally learn more about Nina's background. They really made an effort casting a talented bunch of mostly interesting characters - sure, there was some basic sh*t on the runway again, but also some refreshing looks and I can't argue with the winner.

That was my favourite episode of the season so far. Even the transformation challenge didn't irk me like it usually does. Juliet did really well, the only thing I didn't like was that the pattern on her dress was off center on the top. I liked the pattern combination of Janet's pussy bow blowse, and Jen's too. Riccardo had a good week and I agree with him, that as a dress the fabric looked chic, as curtains its fugly. Oh Mercedes. She hasn't stood out for her precision sewing, has she? Then why did she risk using the blanked instead of switching fabrics? She made life very hard for herself from the start. Her made to measure was ok. I wanted Esme to try on the gilet - it should've fitted her. She really is the MVP of the season

    S04.E10: Cloud 9 Academy

Not as strong as some of the other episodes this season. Some of the academy stuff was hard to watch, but the bit with the certificates was amusing. Someone needs to sit Cheyenne down for a talk. Dinah and Garret are so compatible, they could be the real power couple of Superstore! Oh Matteo. He will always jump for the most convenient solution without thinking it through.

Me too, along with the glue guns. iirc they use it a lot because you don't need to hem the edges.

    S07.E10: Climate Quick Change

I said a few weeks ago that Bidell would be the last International standing - surely has nothing to do with (I assume) PR airing in Canada but not in any of the other countries. AR's was like his design he won with early in this season and if he makes it to the final, thats the gimmick he's gonna use for hois whole collection, mark my words. One bare arm during a snow storm, yeah, thats gonna work. And the hemlines were fugly. Michelle should have gone home, not win - I liked the prints but wtf? Turning the sleeves inside out does not make them proper pockets. Dimitri is still riding the mumu-train. Only one week to go until PR is back on Bravo!

I am not a dog person, so the transfromation challenge was not for me and I didn't watch much of it. But the other two tasks were great, I thought, and no complaints about the eye candies that were this week's models (to be fair, the female models are usually gorgeous too). Of course Esme made a bathing suit for Tilda Swinton - she really is the coolest! For something a bit unconventional I think swim suits are a great challenge. Loved Janet's fabrics and Janet helping the other contestants was highlighting again that some of the popularity of these shows are down to it being a friendly competion instead of cut throat. I love whacky patterns and colour. The colour choices for the track suits were a but muddy overall - unsurprisingly I liked Riccardo's best. Jen's track suit would not have been my first choice for garment of the week. Although I like the style she described, the leg bottoms didn't look like a design feature.

    S07.E09: All Inclusive

Thats what they did in Sweden. They added 'hen' as a gender neutral pronoun ('han' and 'hon' are the male and female pronouns) a few years ago. The challenge for English is probably to get everyone to agree to one suitable word.

I loved this episode and would wear everything but Mercedes' psychedelic pattern flares. The punk challenge was ok, especially as it came with another set of unexpected Esme facts - a full on punk, who would have guessed. They got away with everything looking very thrown together this time. Sad to see Ben go - that mushroom pattern was so wacky, I loved it. Pitty his sewing wasn't neater.
