    S38 Spoilers & Speculation

Right now, from what I've seen so far, I don't know why a winner from EOE would be controversial. Being on EOE is no picnic - the conditions there seem much worse than being back with a tribe. I guess what's controversial is having someone you voted out come back.

S38.E05: It's Like the Worst Cocktail Party Ever

I feel like she doesn't want to commit to a particular alliance until she has time to think about it, or not at all, but a Survivor free spirit. Or a freedom ranger (type of meat chicken).

    S38 Dan "The Wardog" DaSilva

I've been calling Dan "Peacekitty" but I think a cat can hurl a hairball further than Dan can throw.

    S38 Tribe Tracker

The Extinct tribe is the largest tribe now.

S38.E05: It's Like the Worst Cocktail Party Ever

I was so hoping Wardog Peacekitty would be voted out. Voting out Wendy is like voting out one of the chickens - it's not like she is any threat. Peacekitty is so athletically inept; he throws as badly as I do. But this is a red letter episode - Julia had a confessional and she was actually shown having conversations with people! I wish David would wear a jock strap. But maybe those are forbidden items. I wonder if Aubry's going to the bottom just to rise again is foreshadowing of final tribal council.

    Spoiler alert!!

    S38 Julia Carter

I remember her, but not her name. She ended up being Sebastien's girlfriend after they left Fiji.

    S17.E01: Premiere

The editing is clever how they show one designer expressing an opinion and then next is shown a designer expressing the opposite opinion on the same subject. I feel like they don't like Cavanaugh very much. I liked Sebastian's look quite a bit. I first I thought "hoochie mama", then I realized it was like a swim suit and covering garments. But it was fun. Of the three top looks, I liked Renee's the best. Poor Frankie. I hope she's not eliminated but it's not looking good for her. I'm glad she got to stay. I can't help wondering if pity went into the judges' decision.

Karlie and Christian next to each other - it's like a ventriloquist and her dummy. I'm curious to see how Christian works out as a mentor. He doesn't sounded excited about Cavanaugh's garment although he said he was.

I like Frankie, she seems familiar, too. Actually I know who she reminds me of - a contestant on a past Project Runway or other competition who looks like her but has a much higher-pitched voice. Maybe a cooking competition on Food Network. Hester sure has a mess at her work station, especially all the scraps on the floor!

Karlie Kloss seems very familiar, has she been a judge on PR or one of the other fashion/models shows? It seems like they have more money, too, for fabric and other stuff. $250 for this challenge. Funny how Cavanaugh complains she doesn't have enough money, then in the next seen the two designers are amazed they have so much money to spend on one garment. One is the woman who is currently living in her car. Now, where's Swatch?

    S17.E01: Premiere

Just finished watching Top Chef, now to watch new Project Runway! Already I'm not thrilled with the girl with the Mickey Mouse ears hairdo. And there was one guy who sounded like Dmitry when he talked. I liked Renny's coat outfit. This white outfit is pretty good, too (Rakan). I like the long gloves on ?'s outfit (Garo?). Now this blue/orange one has long straps like Christine's on PR All-Stars. Hester's looks like a cupcake. Now the big bow thing, we've seen before. Sonia's is nice, I wonder if she knows Leanne in Portland. Lela's drapy outfit was a little weak. The loft workroom is pretty cool-looking. Still "brother" sewing machines - at least some things are staying the same! They get two days to work on their garments!! I wonder how many pairs of glasses Mickey Mouse girl (Hester?) owns.

    S16.E15: Finale

I looked at the menu and one item is "chicken and not box waffles." Ha! There is a link to the menu at the very top of the screen.

    S16.E15: Finale

Kelsey's downfall may be her crab dish. And Sarah's might be the bacon and peach dish if it remains really salty. I hope she can fix it. At least one judge found the salt level was OK. Of course it wasn't too salty for Tom, but he certainly had problems with it. Hoping the other courses are good enough to outweigh the one not so good course. Nice product placement of Pellegrino! I'm happy for Kelsey, but I thought Sarah's meal sounded better from the comments. But I didn't taste it. They both did really well! I was extra happy that these two were the finalists because sometimes it seems like regional or southern food gets looked down on in Top Chef and other cooking competitions and the chefs get kind of marginalized because they aren't working in New York or LA or San Francisco or another urban hub. @ChitChat, I bet you are happy for Kelsey! Is there anything special going on to celebrate?

Their faces when Sarah and Kelsey ate the prawns with the little eggs on top!
