    Lethal Weapon

If it was the end it was an okay ending. I liked this episode better than last week's episode. Personally I like it when there are more interactions with Cole and Roger together. So I am not sure how much I would like it without Damon Wayans although I could see where they were possible setting it up with Trish as the DA but I don't know who they would have partnered Cole with. Maybe Bailey? This season started out really strong for me. But it suffered when Cole and Roger were at odds. I could do without the Natalie drama as well. The past few episodes were not as strong but I like that they tried to wrap everything up. Family, indeed.

    S07.E08: Penneys from Heaven

I liked Anthony Ryan’s dress the best. I am not sure it was nighttime though. I liked the assymetrical lines of it and the contrasr of blue and red I hated Biddel’s. I cannot stand the dropped crotch pants. And I didn’t like Michelle’s either. So simple and not special in any way. It was an oversized tee shirt dress. And I was sure Dmitry would be in the bottom. That looked more costumey than others he has been crticized for as being costumey.

    S07.E07: Pure Imagination

This whole season is tired and dated. I can re-watch Seasons 1-5 of Project Runway and they don't feel as tired and outdated as this one which is 2 years old. Nothing wowed me in this challenge.

    Episode Discussion: TFGH

Who is Spencer and why is he roaming around alone? Isn't he kind of young for that? And did he really make it so Laura won the Mayor's race? Who was she running against? Baby Wiley has the most beautiful smile! I loved his grin at Willow.

I didn't recognize him! Jason Momoa was my favorite on that show but Joe Flanigan was a close second. And thanks, Perkie for your post! It was very informative and cracked me up too.

    Lethal Weapon

I read a couple of articles last week that the PTP are hopeful that Damon Wayans will be back. I am vague on the details (such as who was being quoted which is very important but yeah I don't remember) but it was stated there were some changes made to the shooting schedule and whatnot because of Damon Wayons health issues and that he is much happier now. So that is possible good news for us that are enjoying this iteration of the show! I hope it gets renewed.

I absolutely agree. I told my daughter it was as if they had fired all their writers and hired new ones. It did not flow at all for either one of us.

    Episode Discussion: TFGH

The revamp seems like a good time to jump in here. I started watching GH again around Christmas time after taking a 25 year or thereabouts break. And I started reading this thread to try and figure out some things. I know I could look up and find out some of the finer points of the stories on the internet but I have been stubbornly trying to figure it out on my own. Anyway my perspective is different since I've been away so long. It makes me happy to see so many familiar actors still playing the same characters-well mostly. My fondness for Todd on One Life to Live makes me like Franco. I didn't know that he was an honest to God serial killer though. Elizabeth is so beautiful and luminescent I am rooting for her and Franco. It took me awhile to figure out that Kevin Collins is not really Kevin but his crazy brother Ryan. I don't remember Kevin having a brother but to be honest I liked the idea that Kevin just finally snapped and started killing people. Oh well. Jon Lindstrom is a hoot in this. And did I see Monica in an episode?! I thought yes, the Quartermaines are still there and important. But I haven't seen her since. I've always hated Jason and he hasn't changed. I never liked Kelly Monaco on Port Charles and can't say I like her here any better. Sonny and Carly. Still there. blah. Alexis is still a favorite of mine. I am intrigued by some of the new characters (Liesl for one) but my God some of these male characters are so blah and interchangeable! Chase. Peter. Griffin. I keep forgetting which is which and why they are there. And the Oscar storyline is horrible and I can't stand the Joss character. She is Sonny's daughter? How many kids does he have? And someone mentioned he and Alexis are Christina's parents? I don't remember that at all from way back when. threebluestars and I posted at the same time! Funny that we are both returning viewers although I must have stopped a little sooner than you. I don't remember Ryan and Felicia at all.

    I Am the Night

Steve Hodel wrote The Black Dahlia Avenger. I read it several years ago. He was George Hodel's son and is convinced that Hodel was the murderer. I don't remember Fauna from the book. Interesting side note-Hodel was one of the detectives on the OJ Simpson case. I believe he testified at the trial. George Hodel was a very strange guy. I don't know that Steve Hodel convinced me that his father was the killer but I found his book interesting. It is why I am watching this.

    S01.E12: Anima Sola

This was the most ridiculous of all of the episodes yet. The laws that were broken in taking the patient to the other hospital and pretending to be another doctor were mind blowing. Insurance companies are not noted for being charitable and benevolent. No they are suing everybody in sight and not paying for any of the patient's procedures. How could they not be caught? And I don't see Reynolds risking his career on something so risky. I realize the medicine is most fake soap opera medicine. I wish more of an effort was being made to keep it more realistic. I really can't say why I am still watching.

S01.E02: So Much For the Afterglow

It's not comparing it to the original that makes me hate it. It is the actors portraying Max and Liz. Especially Nathan Parsons. And to find out he does have some acting experience? I find him so wooden and blah. He doesn't have any energy at all. And Jeanine Mason as Liz? It comes across as community theater to me.

    Lethal Weapon

I am not sure if it has been picked up for 22 episodes but last night's episode was a repeat. I haven't heard anything more about Wayans leaving but the episode last week (?) set it up nicely if that is what they want to do. Roger would become a guest lecturer at the Academy, Trish becomes the DA. But who knows? I just continue to watch because I like the episodes that have been airing.

    S01.E01: Pilot

I felt that they took teenage Max and just aged him 10 years. He should act more like the adult that he is-a cop in a small town who knows everyone and has some standing in the community. I was so disappointed in this. I didn't see any chemistry between Max and Liz at all. And am I right that now she is a journalist? Yet she keeps all her high school biology stuff like microscpes around? I don't know if I can even give it a few episodes. I did love the original. I never read the books so I can only compare it to the OG series. Like others here I am inspired to rewatch the OG.

    S07.02: Top of the Class

they never said what kind of graduation. Around here they have 8th grade Graduation which is as big a deal as High School. I immediately thought high school, not college. Maybe it was because I didn't have or know anyone who had a college graduation party that involved families and dresses. There are still too many people and I can't keep them all straight. Knowing that it was filmed in 2017 and we are in 2019 just takes something away from the whole thing.

    S03.E09: Bad Santas

Yes! And it totally re-invigorated the show. It is fun to watch and that cannot be overestimated.
