    S23.E12: After the Final Rose

I hate pageant girls. They can be so fake. Hannah was freaked out not knowing how to meet a few guys, because she hadn't rehearsed!

Poor Hannah. She was fooled by the dolt the longest. If the show wants me to look on Colton and Cassie as some great romance, sorry, but both of them suck. He's stalker-level nuts, and she's clearly wrong-reasons. I don't want to see either of them on BIP, regardless of how this ends. Taysha and Hannah deserve those tickets, if not bachelorette. (If B'ette is who RS says, GAG me.)

    Temptation Island (2019)

I remember another TI couple getting in trouble for passing notes to each other. They'd leave the notes tucked under the sinks in a communal bathroom. Mostly I remember most couples staying together and much less depth of discussion on relationships.

Thank you for saying this. This is my husband. I was his mistress. He was married only a few years when we met. We've now been married 36 years. He's a John type of solid, reliable guy, and I have never once been concerned he would cheat (he hates drama and we're both as stable and boring as hell.) It's not about weakness -- he has never done anything as brave as when he risked his reputation and career (he was my boss) to be with me.

    Temptation Island (2019)

I'm rooting for Evan and Morgan. I'm a sucker for a love story, and I believe Evan when he says he's never experienced these feelings. I think it's clear he's been with Kaci more out of habit than anything deep, hence his reluctance to marry her. Deep down it just isn't there. I also find it interesting that Morgan looks nothing like Kaci, so it's not like Evan has a type (or he does, and it's not Kaci.) I agree that Kaci sounds like a mother with Evan a mother/son dynamic. Not very sexy or romantic, or even equal. She deserves a man who is completely in love with her, and Evan clearly isn't that guy.

    S23.E10: The Women Tell All

What an unpleasant way to spend an evening. I feel like I got trapped in a sorority war. All of you, sit down and shut up! Especially anyone in the back row (who are you and why are you here?) And Demi, who really proved her immaturity witth that cricket impression. Looks like she headed to Paradise. Oh joy. So, so over seeing Colton in the shower. He does nothing for me. Looks kinda... fat? Dare I hope that Cassie is off the show now? Such a boring girl. All she did was repeat what Colton said, unless she was whining "I don't know.... "

Cassie is such a Daddy's girl. Nice of him to bail her out. Why was she kissing this guy she was going to dump? If she thought this move would earn her a stint as the Bachelorette, she missed the requirement that the lead be brokenhearted. More likely, Miss Ready For My Closeup realized she was F1 and about to lose the gig. I missed out on my Hannah date! She better get some all expenses paid fun from the producers. I see the ending now being more looking for Colton, CH talking him into staying, Colton meeting with Taysha and Hannah, maybe his family, and it's over. Hannah for Bachelorette.

Caelyn was trying so hard for that B'ette spot with her tearful farewell (sob)... she can never find love (sob)... but she hasn't lost hope! ITA about the fantasy suites. Are they ALL thinking he'll put out for them? And if he doesn't, will they assume they're the losers? And since when is he supposed to boink all three finalists? That's just so gross. It used to be completely implied, but the contestants are assuming There Will Be Sex (as opposed to extra getting-to-know-you time away from the cameras.)

    S23.E08: Week 8: Hometown Dates

It used to be forbidden. Until one season it caused a ton of drama, and is seems almost expected, which is awful. Now Colton is taking it to a whole new level telling each of the F4 (not, say, just F2) that he's falling in love with them. I hope the Women Telling All ream him a new one! His love isn't worth much, is it? I never believed Caelyn's professions of love for Colton, no matter how hard she tried to convince herself. Her family was terrifying, especially that sister with the humongous outsized bazoongas spilling all over. They were all ready for their TV moments, except Stepdad John. He seemed genuine. I felt bad that she kept calling him John, while he referred to her as his daughter. Hannah is so dang cute, I really want her to be the Bachelorette. Please! But her date was dorky. Sadz. Tayshia's Dad for the Dad Rose. He was awesome. I wonder what kind of federal law enforcement officer her brother is, and what her dad does for a living. I love that Cassie won't lie about "falling in love" with Colton until she's good and ready. That's as it should be. So what's the surprise no one knew? Colton is really a woman? Or impotent? Finally, we get the gate jumping scene. Chances are good it will be something lame and uninteresting.

Why hasn't he moved out, indeed. And why does he think he can kick Fiona out of a house she, and she alone, OWNS? Every episode I talk about how Fiona is supposed to be mothering Liam, and she never does. It's criminal. The kid is only in grade school, and he's ignored and treated like one of the adults in the house.

    S02.E08: Identity, Part I

I guess I saw it as similar to a manhole cover. They're everywhere, like the bones are. It was designed by biological entities to automatically open when touched, so it worked for a hiding place.

    S02.E08: Identity, Part I

I don't trust AI's, especially ones with no emotion, so I was ready to see their biological creators as slaves or something. But the massive ossuary -- wow, that gutted me. And here the Kaylons were all on their high horse about our own history! I am half hoping, but afraid of being disappointed, that Isaac will "evolve" (since they mentioned their own evolution) and get emotions, and help the humans. Because dropping that kid's drawing was COLD, man! (And because the title is "Identity.") So the Kaylon are worse than the Borg. Why do they have to wipe out Earth, if they've outgrown their planet? Go find an uninhabited berg to live on. They don't even have our dietary or oxygen requirements, so the galaxy is their oyster! And if they are so so smart, they ought to be able to terraform if they really need it. All of which tells me their real reason is to conquer the galaxy because they think they're superior and think the biologicals will contaminate them or endanger them in some way — like their creators tried to do, wipe those suckers out! That didn't bother me. The bones are everywhere underground, so I'm not surprised they'd be under the capital city. Those probably used to be plumbing tunnels, which the Kaylon don't need. And they feel nothing about building and working above graves like we would and feel no need to concern themselves with the remains.

    S23.E07: Week 7: Denver, Colorado

This is what I recall, too. If someone has an interview or such that shows he picked her from the beginning, I'd love to read it. Exactly. He wasn't training 24/7. And you're right, it's not like the Caelynns and Cassies aren't tripping over themselves for pro football players (even benched ones like Colton).

    S23.E07: Week 7: Denver, Colorado

So much this. I was ready at 22, when I met my guy, 37 years ago. What exactly do they need to do to show they're "ready"? Learn to use a mop? Balance a checkbook? Pay their rent? It's a bogus garbage thing women say to knock each other down. If they're really into the guy, as they all seem to be, it's not a case of them still playing the field, which is impossible on the Bachelor anyway. Even if they have eyes on Hollywood, it doesn't mean they can't both be ambitious and fall in love.
