Does Gary work?

I am not liking Prue this last season. She gives little constructive criticism and a lot of just telling the contestants how bad something is, " not your best bake". The bakes themselves seem to have gotten more complex and the time they give them is too short. I wonder if this is due to the change in networks. It is getting more Gordon Ramsey and less Mary Berry.

I was hoping it was Sister Mary Cynthia. Wish she would return.

Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old cousin in 1957. When he went on tour in England people were so upset when they found out his wife's age they boycotted. The shows were cancelled. Sadly, there are many states in the US that do not have a minimum age for marriage and sadly child marriages, with young brides to older men, continue in our own country.

They are airing same time as the voice. Watched all of 10 minutes and doubt I'll be back for idol.

I'm not sure I liked this episode.

Was reading that there may be another season. There was a large outcry about the shows cancellation and some petitions gathering signatures. They are trying to find another station to move to. I hope it continues.

That book and their evil child rearing ways are the number one reason I hate that they are on TV. The publicity and public exposure serve to spread this type of thinking to others easily.

Just watched episode 2 of the second season, what a wonderful show.

So far I like it.

No theme song starting each episode. I just should have shut the TV off at that point. I have 2 daughters one is 7 years older than the other. I watched it as it was shown on TV with the oldest and in reruns with the youngest, we are all just heartbroken. GG was the show I could rely on to set a fabulous example for my girls. Rory always strong yet perfectly human in each episode. She was a great student, understood education was important, dated different guys, got into some minor trouble. It was all good and such a wonderful example for young woman. She had dreams and things she wanted to pursue. Getting pregnant is what so many young women without hope do because they really don't know what else to do or they want someone to love or they want the father to stay with them. Rory getting pregnant was truly the WORST ending on so many levels.

Why does PBS edit every single show?

Thank you for posting this link. Made me miss the West Wing so much. Had hoped that this show would be similar in some way but alas I am very disappointed. I hate shows where everyone is back stabbing everyone else. I think the last scene with the new CoS cinched it for me. As a new president I would have asked him to be watched and I think at such time he would have had secret service agents with him. However, that last moment when it shows that even he is a bad guy and possibly out to get the new president I realized this isn't anything like the West Wing. Instead of learning things about government and the constitution I am yelling at the TV that this isn't the way it would be done.
