  1. Thanks for the explanation......and today, every notification I opened went to the proper comment. And that is so funny, you mention a yellow line, but I had never noticed that at all before. And that is very handy, far faster, to look for. Thank you! Still, I am an advocate of making the comment # visible. Note, I do not have any idea if when you prune if the comment #'s change, but if they don't, I think it would be an improvement. Assuming they stay the same, the additional "pro' argument for displaying it is it allows more, and more streamlined, discussion. Thank you.

Too complex, meaning they would have to burn up several minutes of airtime, either by having done more exposure in prior episodes, or more flashbacks in the "quitting" episode, time that could they spend on something else. Here's what they could have done to be complete (but they didn't) using material we mostly know about. 1. Caroline quits, then hangs out in her bunk room 2. Music is set up outside 3. Ross comes by and ends the music, and then exits the scene in seeming disregard of Caroline's position. 4. Kate and Josiah make comments about herpes outside her door. 5. Flashback to Kate making comment about excuses not to work (earlier) "What's next, Shingles?" 6. Flashback presumption to Caroline confused about herpes 7. Cut to 5 second shot of dictionary or Google image of definition of source of Shingle and differences from std's. 8. Final cutting remark from Kate, to "work or get off the boat Now!" 9. Caroline being dragged out by producers, and not cooperating in her exit. A few speculative points, but if the guilty party (Caroline) has already been shown to be irresponsible, why bother with additional details? As to her exit, I think they showed her walking away from the yacht for her final exit, but I don't think they showed what pried her loose from her bunk room. Was it interesting? Perhaps yes, but perhaps too much breaking of 4th wall, and...it's on the cutting room floor.
  3. First: I'm not sure how in my OP there was a link to a comment - I wan't trying to post one. Here are some problem links from last night. But as I go through it, let me tell my basic technique. Technique: On a desktop/laptop....From the notification window, I right click on a link and open in a new tab (in Chrome). Then I head over to the tab and look at the page. Frustration: 1) not landing on the indicated post; and it takes awhile to find the indicated post. 2) To see the comment # I have to hover over the 1st and 2nd ways you pointed out or the Like button, but because the link is so long the browser shows part of the link, and then a second later the full link (where the comment # is). badhaggis and car54 reacted to a post in a topic Shannon Beador: Magic Crystals and Nine Lemons https://forums.previously.tv/topic/4989-shannon-beador-magic-crystals-and-nine-lemons/?page=38&tab=comments#comment-5061201 Result: takes me to comment 5060482 apparently the link is for my comment but mine is several down and off the bottom of screen ....reacted to a post https://forums.previously.tv/topic/90696-s06e17-reunion/?do=findComment&comment=5061162 initially was not taking me to the right comment, but pasting link into new tab...is ok now Not end of world: CaptainCranky, smores, dleighg and 1 other commented on Million Dollar Listing LA https://forums.previously.tv/topic/90002-million-dollar-listing-la/?page=3&tab=comments#comment-5064157 Result: lands on my comment but the link is the comment below mine Surrealist reacted to a post in a topic Million Dollar Listing LA https://forums.previously.tv/topic/90002-million-dollar-listing-la/?page=3&tab=comments#comment-5046667 I opened it in a new tab from Notifications window, and was not on the proper comment; refreshed the page 3 times it landed me all out of the place, and it was taking me a long time to hover over links and find 5046667 Then I pasted the link in a new tab and it did take me to the right comment. Did this action again, and it was okay. Theory: maybe starting in the Notification area is the problem. STILL Requested: if the comment # eg 5046667 was just visibly displayed maybe under the date or near the 'share this link' icon life would be easier. I could find the post in just 1 second. Thanks for thinking of ways to correct this or make it easier to navigate ETA: I "removed link" from all urls above, and in the edit window they look ok, but when saved the system puts the hyperlink in instead on some.
  4. A notification may end in something like https://...........#comment-5061234 But when that link is opened in a new tab, my machine often does not take me to the exact post, perhaps a little above or below, and then I have to search around hovering over the Like button to see the comment number, and that takes a few seconds to see the entire url as it unscrolls in a 2 step process. If the post number 5061234 was just shown somewhere in the post it would make life easier. Also other forum software will use post numbers, and one can click and use them as permanent links, so generally the thread has a thread number and title, then there s post 1, 2, 3, 4 etc within that thread. Easy to understand and refer to. People can say "see post 23 in this thread for more info." Having the post number visible here could help as well in like manner. Thanks!

Good analysis @smores. There's been a lot of that "We need a price reduction" stuff, but I bet it's as you say he signed sellers up with an inflated price to begin with. Combined with his jerkish personality, I could NOT see doing business with JA.
  6. David, imo, will likely get some slack cut in the support area, and Shannon will have to pay him back for the amount of overage he paid over the last year, But her big payday will be half the increased value of the company while married. As I recall I looked it up and he founded his company before marrying Shannon. He provided a P&L for the company, and next I wonder what the balance sheet looks like.

I think they didn't show it because like others said, there was a great lack of context. Maybe they have to show background discussion or TH about shingles, medical conditions etc, and that's a bit heavy for light entertainment. Plus Caroline is no doubt kookoo and HAD LEFT the show (when the editing was done), possibly in violation of her contract in several ways, so why throw her any bones during that episode?

The staging done by Jame's mom....the house with white walls and orangey-wood floors...to me looked great. Forget Altman's artist house with Corian walls, sheesh.

Good God, no thanks. I think the final selling price was 16.5M (Heather's buyer came up), unless you mean some real world closing that the show didn't cover. Still what a crapload of a price lowering.... and ~maybe all those new developments at 20-30M would push this property UP. Now I'll grant you, wasn't this Magentic Terrace? There's only a few homes on it and Zillow shows the highest one at 8M. Streets above are 8M-20M Btw, I notice JA does a lot of out-of-place celebratory laughing and "all righting" when he has his selling client take a low low offer, but that's because I suppose (using Matt's words about JF), he is a douche. That one with the developer a week ago (and then trying to hook him for future work - "the next one"), the PV home. It's a payday for him, so I guess that's why he celebrates. Nevermind that he sold something terribly below market. These rich sellers with such anxiety (gotta sell quick covered usually with 'move on to the next thing'), makes me think their net worth actually isn't very high.
  10. Wouldn't that be "mother to two porn stars"?

I think I recall Kate saying in an earlier epsiode, "what's next, shingles?" about Caroline getting another excuse not to work. But I'm not entirely sure about that. But from these few things, and some of Caroline's tweets a month ago+, there was some shingles mentions. Here at ptv, the guess was Caroline looked up Shingles and got confused about the kind of herpes involved, and ~perhaps~ that became the basis for the joking in the hallway

Actually, Capt Lee is repeating something he has said before, that she said MO once but she said it in a way he could hear it (over the radio). In that earlier interview, he said if he hadn't heard it, Ashton would have been a goner, and gave props to Rhylee for saying it at all, basically thankful that he could hear it. He was pointing out the fact her saying it once (over the radio) was more important than the fault of not saying it 3 times.
  13. So the BD Reunion...aired footage of Kate and Josiah outside Caroline's cabin, making comments about Herpes. Now, we don't actually know if Caroline was in there, but for the moment let's assume so. Though something is weird with the timing, as the music wasn't playing...perhaps Ross had come by earlier and turned it off, and yet Caroline apparently was not ready to leave the yacht yet, if she was in there at all. Again I'll assume she was in there, and afterall K and J regretted their actions on the reunion. And...with the reunion and that footage aired, Caroline is silent on twitter. I think there is a possible connection, a quid pro quo - they air it and she keeps her mouth shut.

In recent episode, JA says the house was the "inspiration" for Entourage. What a crummy claim to fame. Home before and after such a claim :+ $0!!!!

Capt Lee on Laura's disrespect of Kate (the check yourself night): "I'd have fired her on the spot." Yes! Josiah, comparing people's mindsets of the unexpected - male steward and (strong) female deck crew. Right on! He goes up and up in my opinion.
