They certainly do, I believe they are mainly used by the military, apart from them growing corn, the show never really touched upon the use of cooking oils to power their vehicles. When you consider how much oil there must be in your average town, Maggie could be riding around on that big arsed tractor forever and a day, yet just like the guns, vehicles have been quietly ushered off stage so the show can go all ‘Little House On The Prairie’

On the old AMC forum we kept asking if they could do an official map but met with little interest, I haven’t even seen a decent fan made one. Although it’s not the fictional WD world, the WD Google Map is interesting to nose around, https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1x5Ed-nylk7BF2nlk0qjAW_GoNso&hl=en&ll=33.7582919%2C-84.38759429999999&z=8

Regarding the clip below, ComicBook are claiming that Yumico is saying “if we had a BOAT we had a choice” which they take to mean that the group sailed all the way from Coalport in England to the US, I think she says “if we had a VOTE” and considering that there is a Coalport in Pennsylvania, I’m wondering which view is more likely, do you hear Boat of Vote? https://comicbook.com/thewalkingdead/2019/02/15/the-walking-dead-international-england-journey-clip/ Q

I was just beginning to warm to Alden, not so much Trout-Pout yet, these secondary characters should be given a reasonable amount of time with which to tickle our fancy, I think Aaron is a good example of this, he has managed to work his way up to, in my opinion, a much loved and important character, who’s promise I hope doesnt get wasted in the same manner that befell Jesus.

    Small Talk: Ughngnggh! Ugghhnnn!

When I was a kid and Mother was cooking sausages, I always nicked at least one and ate it raw, delicious, when cooking rashers of bacon she used to cut off the rind and layer of bright white fat, I used to grip the fat between my teeth and pull the rind off, then eat the fat, totally raw, she baked loads of cakes and I used to eat all the scrapings of left over mixture, raw eggs and all. I never once got ill and I never get stomach upsets to this day, just lucky? Mmmmmm, if a parent let their child do that today the kid would end up in care 🤢
  12. I’m intrigued as to what the show’s next choice of villain will be. After the sleep inducing Proctors, the bizarre Vultures and crazy bag lady, what will they come up with now? The gang seem set on continuing the good deeds of Clayton, so will it be someone just wanting all of their ‘stuff’, or something a little stranger? It may all depend upon whether a good Dwight, or a bad Dwight hits town, so I’m quite eager to see where the show is heading, a touch of the unknown gives a nice start to the season.

    Spoilers and Speculation

“pay the woman” may prove costly. From ComicBook, A new unconfirmed report claims that King Ezekiel actor Khary Payton will be leaving AMC's zombie series in either Season Nine or Season Ten. The rumor comes up just as the series gears up for the infamous "pikes" sequence which saw the character killed off in the comics, however, fans should expect this sequence to deviate from Robert Kirkman's source material quite heavily. "We Got This Covered has heard from trusted sources that Khary Payton will be saying goodbye to The Walking Dead in either season 9 or the already commissioned season 10, with King Ezekiel set to meet his fate," the report reads. "Our source can’t say for sure when it’ll happen, but Payton has already been notified about what’s in store for his character and it sounds like it was a writer-led decision and not because the actor wishes to leave the show." If the report turns out to be true, Payton joins a long list of fan-favorite characters exiting The Walking Dead. Following Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, and Lauren Cohan, word broke out that Michonne actress Danai Gurira will be next in line to bow out. Cohan is expected to return, Lincoln is getting a series of movies, and Gurira's exit details remain quiet though she is making her escape at some point in Season 10. While the majority of those exits were influenced by actor decisions, Payton's is noted as being a creative choice by The Walking Dead's powers that be. Unlike Gurira, Payton has been vocal about loving his position as King Ezekiel on The Walking Dead and has shown no signs of desire toward other pursuits. Though entirely possible, Payton's exit from The Walking Dead should be chalked up as a rumor and nothing else. Reps for Payton declined a request for comment. https://comicbook.com/thewalkingdead/2019/02/13/the-walking-dead-king-ezekiel-khary-payton-exit/

To be fair to the ‘end of the world’ shows, if they are attempting to reflect what reality would be like, then animals will be hurt, any animal, even those one would never consider eating in normality, is fair game when all stored, prepackaged food has been consumed. Growing food is not an easy thing to do to those used to visiting the supermarket, if a protein, vitamin source presents itself in front of someone who is starving then it is going to die, no matter whether it looks cute or can fetch a ball. In a ZA situation, the breeding of dogs, cats, chickens, rats for consumption would become the norm as long as it prolonged human life. Only once people reached a ‘Hilltop’ level of existence would they then begin to revert to keeping dogs as pets or working members of the society.

    S09.E09: Adaptation

Even if Mutley did feel out of its depth and was scared, it would have just gone back through the swing doors the way it came in, why didn’t they just play the noise of the dog / dogs ripping the walker to pieces and having a good feed? Because they’re still trying to make us believe that the Walkers are dangerous, when in fact packs of wild hounds are far more life threatening, especially now that nobody seems to be carrying a firearm.

The Walking Dead in the Media

From ComicBook 'The Walking Dead' Ratings Rise, Rock Solid Post-Rick The Walking Dead saw an uptick in ratings on Sunday night, proving the post-Rick Grimes era of the show is holding steady through four episodes. The Walking Dead's first episode of 2019 delivered a 2.0 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, with 1.1 million viewers in the demo. The age range of 25-54 posted a 2.5 rating, totalling 1.3 million viewers. The total viewership sat at 5.2 million viewers, which is a 1 percent increase from Episode 9x08. Talking Dead also saw an upward bump by three percent in adults aged 18-49 for a 0.8 rating and 1.1 million viewers. It totalled 2.3 million viewers overall as Greg Nicotero and Norman Reedus joined Chris Hardwick to recap the Mid-Season Nine premiere. The numbers aren't the same as The Walking Dead's previous live viewership stunners but in the post-Rick Grimes era, the AMC zombie series has proved its ability to maintain the current audience. The equivalent episode from Season Eight garnered 8.28 million live viewers. https://comicbook.com/thewalkingdead/2019/02/12/the-walking-dead-ratings-rise-post-rick-midseason-premiere/

If the movie script contains the same level of silliness as the show, they won’t be making a second. Its time to get the cheque book out and hire some real talent for the big screen, I believe Frank Darabont is available 🤑
