Yeah, I don't think it was fair to put AJ in a fitness class with a bunch of people who are more advanced, but yes, I agree that production probably thought....oh cool, let's watch this blowup unfold. Earlier this season, Fitness girl Kristine brought couch potato Keith to the gym, but it was just the two of them, and Keith got a feel for what she does there, without feeling intimidated by a whole class. Then again, Keith would likely never go off on a fitness instructor like we are about to see AJ do, next week.

Do you remember how she gagged when he first walked down the aisle? She was so not attracted to him. But magically, cha-ching, the sound of cash registers, and she's suddenly in love with him. On their Jamie & Doug show, a huge point of contention for Doug was that Jamie still kept in touch with her ex, who is apparently much older and doesn't want children. Doug felt that she should break off contact, because he always felt that it was crossing a boundary in their marriage (with which I agree), but she refused. So yesh, I can't stand her. I catch all my Unfiltered recaps from you poor people, who have to write about it here. 🙂 OK I've veered enough off Episode topic for now.....Luke is even worse than ever with his continued deflecting back to Kate's drinking. But Luke.....why.....why.....WHY do we have to keep the sex a secret? Um, Kate, you had 2 extra glasses of wine at 10:32 pm on February 23rd.....ugh....

Something way worse than the thought of Kate climbing all over Luke..... Jamie Otis wins "The Worst Kiss in Bachelor History" FF to 5:18 to watch how desperate/awkward/ridiculous Jamie was as a bachelor contestant:

4 glasses of wine = 1 bottle. That's a lot. I mean, I can't stand Luke, but to drink a bottle in one evening is a lot for anyone.

Actually, none of the other couples seemed to be mad that it was a group thing. They just went with it. His anger appeared in the car, long before he had his first sip of Scotch. Oh, and the fact that he finished half the bottle by himself? Maybe in addition to anger management, he needs AA. Exactly!

But.....but......but......!!!!! AJ and all the others KNEW the mini-moon was going to be with all the other couples. Pastor Cal told them so at the group dinner. It's not like production surprised them. Which, even if they had, it's just part of a silly show. Have a private mini-moon after filming is over. But production didn't surprise them. They were filmed, being told by Cal, that they would all be together. Which is why Kristine & Keith got there early, to pick out the best room (which I don't blame them!). So for AJ to fly off the handle that much, and for that long, is insane. And he was rip-roaring mad before he got there, in the car. Which, presumably, is before he even started drinking (unless he was drinking & driving, which.....that's a whole 'nother thing, but I can't believe the show would allow that). All the couples arrived, chose their rooms, started fixing food, chatting, playing games, laughing. Until ominous AJ thunders in. Cue scary Friday 13th music......

I've been with "explosive temper" guy, and trust me, it gets no better for Steph. It goes from super fun, sweet, great guy to screaming at the top of his lungs at something in a flash. And it will turn on her, make no mistake. That's the pattern, and I lived it. We all see the warning sirens for her. She's like this frightened cat, too afraid to startle him. I was that frightened cat, so I know her look all too well.

Was it actually manipulation by production? At what point did production tell them they'd be "mini-mooning" with the other couples? IIRC, AJ was upset on the drive there, so they knew on the way there, correct? And Kristine & Keith decided to arrive early, so they could have first room choice. So it's not like they drove up, thinking they'd be alone, and then finding out about the other couples. Either way, part of a marriage is how one reacts to stressors, to unexpected issues. All the other couples were having a good time, playing games, chatting, until AJ/Stephanie walked in, when the dark mood hit. And no, it was not only not ok for AJ to make his "joke" to Luke about being a top or bottom, it was highly inappropriate for him to slap Luke. I can't stand Luke, but in that one evening, Luke handled all of that very well.
  9. While I agree re: Barbara's clothing/hair/rough exterior choices, she does seem like a genuine, nice person. She's had Botox and fillers, but unfortunately, it just doesn't look good. Once the stylist gods get a hold of her, maybe she'll bring it. She needs a Queer Eye makeover! (lol) Denise Richards is new on RHBH, and she packed all the wrong stuff for their Bahamas vacation. She's new, so she didn't realize that, dahling, you are supposed to glam up for drinks in someone's room. She (gasp) wore lace-trimmed shorts and a white top, whereas some of the others, who traveled with glam squads, came dolled up, ready for a movie premier. She mentioned this in her TH; I suspect we'll see more glam on DR in the coming season. Tinsley looked terrific on the court. Have she & Scott formally, officially, finally ended their relationship? I do enjoy her, and I love the straight, shorter hair (hi to the stylist gods), but boy, is she stuck at 17.

Oh wow, what a terrible experience! So sorry you went through that.....but you're right, it could so easily explain why Luke appears so detached on camera and apparently becomes inflamed next week when Kate tells him that she told Dr. Pepper. Luke might have someone waiting for him, or someone he's liked for a while, so he wants to be able to say, "Baby, see, it's all right there on camera. I had zero feelings towards Kate. You can see from the show, I didn't even hold her hand!" He's been analyzed to death here. Is he a narcissist? Is he a sociopath? Is he an emotional abuser? I'm not a therapist, so I'll just say: He's an a-hole.

I've thought about this too. If Hannah G had had her fantasy date before Cassie, would it have changed anything? And if Cassie had been all, "Oh, Colton, I love you too", would he have instead pondered Hannah G? And my answer is probably not. I think Colton had an instant chemistry with Cassie from the moment on their date they began making out. There was some love at first sight stuff going on, and she never left his mind. Despite all the Cassie-hate out there, I can see why Colton became so enamored, so fast. First of all, she's a tiny cute blonde, with a family to match. His love map radar went off instantly. Secondly, Cassie is a low drama female, but with tons of energy, a genuine smile; a California girl who loves the beach and laughs a lot. She never got into any stupid house fights, and she seemed to get along with everyone. Add to that, her definite close family foundation, and Colton was smitten. While I think Hannah G is the prettier of the two, she was more guarded. Less open. She never seems to just laugh, be silly, like Cassie.

I think if Will had been paired with Kristine, we'd see an entirely different Will. Kristine had me cringing with her early "Queen" comments, but boy, has she changed my mind about her. So darn cute, with that big smile, and her general bounciness and joy that she takes in life. Whether she's cooking, or just holding hands with Keith, she just emanates this warmth and femininity; I bet there's not a man around who wouldn't fall for her. This has nothing to do with looks. Will was pleased with Jasmine's looks on Wedding Day, and I think Jasmine is an attractive woman. This is about Jasmine having almost zero femininity. Jasmine is treating Will as he is part of a business equation. A math problem to solve. You will make x amount of money, you will provide me with x, and I will give you y in return. If Jasmine would give Will a big smile, a warm hug, a nice meal, and clink some wine glasses together, while she'd listen to his stories, his goals, his dreams, with empathy, I betcha Will would be an entirely different partner. She could/should encourage his desire to coach. Shoot, she should offer to help him out, tell him she'll cheer at games, help make rosters, bake cookies for the team.....instead, she shoots him down with a question about money.

Yes, thank you! Got my Ryan’s mixed up.

I largely give the experts a pass because of the population of singles they have to work with. Anyone who is on dating sites these days knows the pickings are so slim for normal, well-adjusted, sweet people. Spend 2 weeks on the sites, and you'll meet your share of AJ's: Kind of cute, ambitious, super fun....on the surface. Excessive drinker, snaps at a moment's notice, just below. Or Lukes: Attractive but emotionally abusive. But these bad qualities don't come out until you're dating for a while, so it's easy for the experts to miss. Remember basement Ryan, the one who literally turned abusive? The guy who wore the mobster track suits? Easily the most handsome man on the show ever (IMHO), but also easily the most horrible. Last season, we had sweet, genuine Bobby. He could be paired up with this season's Stephanie, and I'd be a happy camper to watch (although I realize Stephanie is out of Bobby's age range....but you get what I'm saying). But he was paired with cold fish Danielle....ugh, I still shudder. The experts are working with the "Interview Perfect" version of these people. Not "half-a-bottle-of-Scotch-in", pissed off AJ with the filthy sex references. Anyway, it's an unfortunate pool of singles out there, for the most part.

I wonder about their jobs and "real life" as well. They said they'll be spending this year "traveling a lot", which means they'll be doing appearances, US Magazine covers, and yes, we will see them on Hannah's season as they give her their sage advice. (And Hannah will blank stare them, as she will do her entire season.....production is probably furiously scribbling cue cards as we speak). It's easy to be in love when you live in a fantasy world. Try fighting traffic every day, worrying about a rent payment, wondering how you'll make ends meet.
