S02.E14: Prison Blues to Wedding Bells

I have a feeling that a lot of the Brittany/Marcelino drama was contrived. Case in point, him being afraid to commit last week and then he proposes. I feel lame for saying this, but that was an awesome proposal. They seem to be the healthiest couple on the show and I really hope they make it. I thought the wedding was really nice, too.

    S06.E10: Backed Into a Corner

My spouse and I met while she was here on a student visa, so she had a driver's license and car at that point. We didn't do the K1, we did the immigrant/marriage visa route, so there wasn't the 90 days part. However... In the almost 3 years we spent waiting for the immigrant visa (she was originally here on a J1, which requires going back to the home country for 2 years before you can adjust your status), we fought A LOT when she got back, even though she had lived here for several years previously! She struggled a lot with not having work experience here, so she had a lot of anxiety about finding a job. She is also very introverted so she doesn't make a lot of friends outside of our relationship, which kind of makes me her only support here, which isn't all that healthy. I say all this to point out that moving to another country is really hard, even when you wanted to do it and you're not stuck in the house all day. It's tough to understand if you haven't been through it, and a lot of people get incredibly homesick. Of course Fernanda was way overboard, but she is young and scared and homesick, so I think that has a lot to do with her overreacting. Jon wasn't wrong, but he's got to hang in there through this part and be as available as he can until she gets her footing. It will pass.

I genuinely hope that you write for a living, in some capacity. If not, you should. (Not being snarky at all, 100% serious).

Right, and I'm pretty sure she didn't even check the camera first...

Totally agree. It's completely possible it's some random racist asshole, but the storyline so far just seems to be pointing this way.

    S06.E09: No Way Out

Larissa is horrid, but Coltee's cousin is an ass. Unless a whole lot was edited out of that scene, he instigated the whole thing. I was shocked at how calm she actually stayed during it. And Coltee just sitting there looking stupid the whole time, closing blinds, etc. Then telling her it's her responsibility to prove she's not a bitch and to ask Cousin Coltee about his day. Tf?!

I knew I forgot a few. Jesse was awful.

I thought Anfisa was bad. I thought Angela was bad. I thought Pole and Tricky Ricky were bad. Leida and Eric are easily the worst people to ever be on this show. Their segments make me physically uncomfortable. Does anyone think that Ashley's psycho ex-friend was the one posting the hate-filled comments on her website?

Exactly! I would think $400 would buy a decent kid bed.

    S06.E01: The Clock Is Tickin'

I apologize if someone already mentioned this as I haven't read through all of the comments, but didn't we see a similar panty-finding scene previously with FernandO and now we're seeing the reverse with FernandA?

Love it. And will use it.

I found that revelation to be incredibly disturbing

    S06.E01: The Clock Is Tickin'

Agree with others, something is definitely off with Eric and that whole storyline. Who kicks their 19 yo daughter out for their new wife and her kid? 19 is an adult, but barely. Who charges said 19 yo HALF of the rent/utilities?? If she's really paying that, I don't see how he can legally make her leave. Squatters have more rights than that! What former Marine keeps his house like that? (Mine is a mess, so not judging, just surprised). His ex-wife seems really normal.

    S02.E12: Tell-All

I thought the same thing, and didn't she also make a nonsensical comment about him ruining the future with the past? Ricky looked a bit orange-ish as well.

    S02.E10: Goodbye For Now

I am thinking the same thing. I'm also wondering if the footage of him at 'work' wasn't some sort of community service. I don't think he works at all, his mom probably just gives him a cut of the rent that the extra rooms bring in. Maybe he manages the bookings or fixes things around the house, etc. With no real living expenses to speak of, he's able to pay for Lucy's daycare. I do think he loves Rachel, though. He just has to drop these little truth bombs on her slowly and with the right timing. She's not going anywhere, though. She's ignoring every red flag because she was able to land a guy she thinks is out of her league, physically. I also have a theory that the hot cousin really was the ex-gf, but John pulled her aside and said 'Ya know, pretend to be my cousin so she doesn't go into a tizzy.' I have absolutely nothing to back any of this up, just spitballing.
