    S12.E16: The D & D Vortex

OK, that was awesome. I have avoided spoilers this season like the plague so I had no idea who was going to be in this episode. Can't believe I forgot about Wil Wheaton, - I'm glad we got at least one more Wil-centric episode.

    S10:04 Kody's Shocking Move

You aren't kidding - there is no regard for public decency and politeness anymore. I'm not saying we should go back to the days of women in dresses and hosiery and men in topcoats, tipping their hats and saying "Good day to you madam", but how about we don't wear our pajamas and slippers to the mall, and we stop thinking that anything we want to do is perfectly fine, even if presents a public nuisance or an outright danger? Plus, don't service dogs have to have special gear and don't they have to be on a leash? I believe they should be easily identifiable.

    S10:04 Kody's Shocking Move

I love this whole post! I am right there with you. Guilty as charged - not of taking a pet to a store, but of being an employee who did not have the guts to question a woman who brought a dog into my store - an unleashed dog that followed her around while she flitted about picking out clothes and went in and out of the changing room several times. I wanted to say something, but I wasn't sure what my options were, there were no other customers around, and I just kept hoping she would leave quickly. The dog was obedient but did wander a bit a couple of times. I was petrified of dogs as a child and still feel very wary around them. So I just stood there and let her do her thing. Thankfully poochie did not leave any unwanted gifts on the carpet! I think that's what I was worried about, that the woman would go off on me - I need to find out our store's policy in case it happens again.

    S02.E04: Unforeseen Circumstances

OMG! Me too, hilarious! Yeah I'm getting bad vibes from Jen. Some people just have "drama" written all over them. One minute she is gushing about how awesome the date was and "we have to do this with Vanessa and Sharise" blah blah blah, then after the phone call she's all "yeah right whatever Jeff see ya bye." I mean. I hope it wasn't anything serious, but not too sure about her future with the Alldredges.

    S01.E15: The Rock

Oh wow, I'm having flashbacks to a former friend. This describes her personality and behavior perfectly, right down to moving on to another group once the current one sees the light of day. These types are vampires, sucking the life right out of you, and the worst part is, you think that it's your fault because you aren't a good enough friend. I even had her in my wedding party because she just assumed she would be and I didn't have the heart to tell her that I had no intention of asking! That's why I don't really see Delilah as NPD - she's nowhere near as bad as some that I have known!

I think it would be interesting if they did decide to turn Delilah more in that direction. Even though I am the resident Delilah apologist, I've never claimed she was perfect, and seeing her get more and more selfish and then realizing (or having someone help her realize) that her behavior is unhealthy could be an interesting development. That being said, I do not see the character as having full-blown NPD. Being selfish and self-absorbed at times does not make one a narcissist. Delilah clearly cares deeply about her family and friends, and she doesn't pathologically turn other people's feelings back on themselves and try to make everything someone else's fault. I think she has done that with regard to her marriage, but that is not so unusual in a relationship gone bad. And I don't get why Eddie was going to help her with the baby stuff, especially since they are trying to keep their secret. That was a bit of a stretch as far as plot devices go. But although she wondered why he didn't show up, it's not like she threw a temper tantrum and started wailing "what about meeeee?" She handled it just fine. Except for calling Eddie when she should've called Katherine, or texted Eddie to see if Katherine was in a good enough state to take a phone call. Or texted Katherine herself and asked her that question. So, yeah, calling Eddie after she found out about the accident was a weird choice, but I'm still not ready to throw a diagnosis as serious as NPD at a character who is just trying to figure out where she and her family go from here. Ha! I loved the show and most of the actors and characters so much that I just went with it, but I agree, that was something else...!

    S10:04 Kody's Shocking Move

First, I was absolutely fascinated by Kody's ever-changing head and facial hair in this episode. It's curly, it's frizzy, he's got almost a fu-manchu thing going - it was hilariously distracting. Second, I really liked how the wives seemed to get along so well throughout the entire episode. They seemed really at ease and like they were truly having fun. Third, Hannah is an interesting person, and I loved her hat shop. I wasn't crazy about every hat, but some of them were lovely - there were a couple in the background that I really liked, and I think the ones the wives picked for the wedding were nice. Not crazy about every one they wore to lunch, but what the hey. Also, and sorry if this has been mentioned since I haven't read all of the comments yet, but did anyone recognize the hat Meri wore to lunch? I swear we saw a picture of her on social media wearing it, and someone commented that it reminded them of head bandages on soldiers during the Civil War!

Robyn Brown: Her Sisterwives Have a Closet!

I never thought of the financial aspects of it and I think you're right and that may be the main reason.

    S10:03 Kody Wants Out

My first instinct was to defend Robyn, but her reaction to the idea of moving coupled with this bit about Dayton definitely makes it a possibility that she and Kody had this planned out. Not that it's necessarily going to be a bad thing, because as others have said, Flagstaff seems like a much better fit for them than Vegas. But just the hell that is moving and selling/buying/building houses puts so much stress on folks. I can certainly understand the reticence coming from the others.

    S10:03 Kody Wants Out

Very interesting points there, I'd never thought of it that way. That could explain why The Aldredge wives are pretty drama-free.

Season 10 Spoilers, Speculation and Social Media

Seriously. Unless it is understood and made clear that everyone cleans their own bathrooms, which is as it should be for teenagers and adults. Heck, I don't even get the attraction of double sinks - that's just another one to wash!
  12. Oh my. I don't see Mariah sporting this, but I have no trouble believing Logan's fiance Michelle could rock the heck out of it!

Robyn Brown: Her Sisterwives Have a Closet!

I get the feeling that Meri never really felt as threatened by Janelle or Christine, because I don't think Kody was really in love with either of them when they got married. I think he grew to have real affection and love for them, but not in the beginning. As for Meri, I think she and Kody were in love, and I think they had a pretty decent wedding, from what I remember of their backstory. Janelle and Christine, on the other hand, never had a nice romantic wedding with friends and loved ones in attendance. Robyn was a different story, because Kody was clearly smitten with her. They were "in love", and Meri even says she was surprised at the feelings of jealousy that she experienced over their relationship. But for Meri to say she wished it was her wedding night - well, you had yours, and you've had Kody for 20+ years, and you are a willing participant in a polygamous relationship - what were you expecting, Meri?

I completely agree. And I thought I realized fairly early (at about 17) that I didnt want kids - ten is super early, lol.

    S01.E15: The Rock

When people focus exclusively on any mistakes or perceived negative behavior and completely ignore anything good or positive, it is easy to turn someone into a pariah. Delilah could run into a burning building, save a dozen people and put the fire out single-handedly and people would still find a way to criticize her and call her a horrible person.
