All I have seen of Luke on Unfiltered is someone who thinks he can act but cannot. I've seen better acting at an elementary school play.

Lifetime is slowly adding full episodes from Season One to their YouTube page. While episodes have previously only been available on YouTube for money, they are now just adding full episodes for anyone to watch.

He ignores how people are reacting to his behavior. He did the same thing to Keith earlier in the season. He is lacking when it comes to reading the body language of those around him and acting accordingly.

The issue with that theory is Luke did not have sex with Kate or treat her in a crappy way after sex. It doesn't matter whether she is needy or not, plenty of couples on the show over the years never consummated the marriage and just went back to their normal lives after the show is over. He wants her to feel bad about this relationship. There is more going on than a possible outside girlfriend or boyfriend.

Jamie was on a podcast recently, her part starts at about the 9:30 mark and she goes into more recent things about the show including her thoughts about Kate and Luke around the 33:30 mark and then goes into her thoughts about Jon and Jessica right after. https://player.fm/series/reality-life-with-kate-casey/ep-152-jamie-otis-from-the-bachelor-and-married-at-first-sight

What it comes down to, we don't know what happened or what Kate's level of conspicuousness was because the story about how drunk she was is coming from Luke who has proven to be unreliable and dishonest. However Luke's own statements were self-incriminating. He was so busy berating Kate, he never considered what he was revealing about himself. I don't expect Luke to be held accountable for anything he has done even if it does meet the legal requirements.

I'm going by the RAINN definition. While it varies by state, blackout drunk is not necessarily the legal requirement.

But the legal question is not whether someone is blackout drunk. It is whether they are intoxicated, meaning they have a certain blood alcohol level.

The problem is Luke's story doesn't make sense. Luke is claiming she gets blacked out drunk. But she seems aware enough to describe his behavior, so she can't be blackout drunk during those times. She clearly described how he acted on the honeymoon and he confirmed that he said he felt repulsed and dead inside.

If she was intoxicated she could not consent, it doesn't matter if she was passed out or not. And he claims to know when she is intoxicated.

Then Luke needs to stop drinking too. He is not a teetotaler himself, we have seen him drink on numerous occasions at this point.

I think that is highly unlikely. Especially since he brought up her drinking multiple times. Not getting specific is hardly keeping a secret on his part. He already said what was damaging. It also doesn't explain why Luke seems to accuse a lot of people of having drinking problems. After he accused Keith of having a drinking problem when he hardly knows him, Luke discredited himself.

Has anyone other has Jamie gotten a true financial boost from being on this show? I'm aware that some have had the opportunity to sell crappy fitness tea and other junk on their social media but no one is getting rich from this show. Random YouTubers are making more money.

I agree. As I mentioned in another thread, i have a sibling who is an alcoholic and nothing I have seen so far has sent up red flags for me about Kate although I've seen several for Luke. Again that could be editing but certain things that you notice with alcoholics and people who are close to them are absent here. First, Luke was way too eager to speak about the topic and he brought it up to producers not the other way around and since that time he has used that statement like a club during arguments with Kate. Usually friends or relatives are in denial, I was in denial at first about my sister and it took time for me to call her an alcoholic. Then Luke has apparently repeatedly given her alcohol is a red flag about him. If you are genuinely concerned about another person's drinking, you don't do that. If anything, you find yourself hiding alcohol from them or just dumping out anything you find in the house. Then you have his constant accusations about various people, AJ, Keith, and Kate. While AJ might just have a problem and it was actually AJ's own statement on the day when he and Stephanie were deciding where to eat and he said something about not wanting to go to a bar because he didn't want to end up drinking, that made me wonder about him. As far as the others go especially Keith, the accusation from Luke was very disturbing. It seems that whenever Luke feels he needs to put someone down, accusing them of a drinking problem is his go-to insult.

But as Lusterleaf brought up, why the back and forth? Why continue to bring up the alleged drinking and then later pretend to be caring? Why berate her and then act like this is a person you want to be married to? It doesn't make sense. Even if the show was keeping footage of her drunk hidden, there is a lot that doesn't add up with Luke's claims and behavior towards Kate. No he doesn't. We have seen him repeatedly bring her down on screen when she is clearly not drunk. He doesn't want anything to do with her but also seems to really enjoy ripping her apart.
