  1. I want to vomit. I’ve appreciated this PTV update where I have the option to react in different ways to posts, but why oh why did we not get a disgusted/vomit option? I wanted to give it as a reaction to all three of the above posts. Surprise, sad, and funny don’t quite cover it when it comes to Twit. And forget about “useful” or “like.” 🤮🤮🤮
  2. Wait-did Glen climb too or did he just “kill it” cheering for Twit? Because if Glen climbed, why aren’t we seeing that instead of her baby steps? I mean, I know the answer to my own question- everything is always all about Twit, it’s probably not “fabulous” to have your 70-something Dad climb further up the wall, etc. But still! I want to see Glen climbing, not hear him cheering for his toddler.

I think those two are cut from a different cloth than many of us (to put it mildly). I would constantly be on edge, but I don’t know if they feel those pressures like normal people do. I feel like I have imposter syndrome stress just living my normal life so they have to be so far on the other end of narcissism to live how they do.

I’m a fellow alum too, TexasGal! I loved D.C. and I really loved GW too. But, I thought my dorm room was gorgeous because I had twinkle lights all over. GW and D.C. can be for a particular type of kid, but I don’t know enough about Sophia to know whether it’s for her or not. I took a quick browse through her instagram and she seems to be living it up as a Kappa. I was definitely not part of that subset on campus, but I’m glad she seems to be having fun. Does anyone know her major or career goals? I know she will likely have an indentured servitude at The Agency, but beyond that? ETA: I always thought this, but scrolling through Sophia’s pictures with her sisters reminded me again- Farrah is really quite beautiful IMO. All of Kyle’s daughters are pretty, but Farrah is striking.

Building on what @yourmomiseasy said, it sounds like you adopted your dog from a kill shelter, which is why the woman suggested rehoming yourself instead of returning. It depends on the local laws, but high-intake shelters can and do euthanize surrendered dogs immediately (some don’t even go to a cage-they are just brought to the back room). Stray dogs have to be held for a certain period of time to allow an owner to reclaim them, which gives them a better chance of being pulled by a rescue group or being adopted once their stray hold is up. Honestly, depending on the shelter, they might care very little about that language in a contract (and not have the time/resources to enforce it), but a rescue cares a lot. Because rescues don’t euthanize for space, there’s no reason that you wouldn’t return a dog directly to the rescue because the dog would not be in danger. The woman at the shelter you adopted from might just been advising you on the side so you knew the potential consequences for your dog if returned. I’m happy you had so many wonderful years together with your girl. ❤️🐾 Also, just as an FYI for those asking about microchips: the name of the rescue is usually never taken off the microchip. I adopted my dog eight years ago and the rescue’s name is still on the chip. You add your name and contact information (and an emergency contact person if you can’t be reached) as well, but the rescue’s name stays there forever- precisely because of situations like this one with Dorit & PK.

It’s ok. I liked Brandi Granville for awhile. I almost bought her book. It’s been my secret shame for years.

Genuine question- why do you think she will leave/transfer? Is it distance or something else? I know Farrah originally went to NY for school and transferred back to California. But, Alexia did seem to last in Boston and graduate from Emerson. I do remember Sophia (I think it was her) getting her ears pierced and, given the drama during that, I had serious questions about the ability of any of Kyle’s daughters to function in the world. But Mom did move her in and decorate her dorm room in a “retro glam” style so it felt like home to her. Small Talk: About Big People

It really was. I think it was the best season of BD yet. But the reunion was boring AF. I vary widely on the Housewives. I used to watch them all, religiously, but I’ve taken steps back at times from Atlanta and NJ because it all felt so toxic and mean (which is saying something for the Housewives). OC has gotten boring and needs a cast shakeup. But I really loved Dallas last season (it still feels all new and fresh) and NYC is always entertaining to me. Even when it’s boring, I still love BH, but this season does seem like it’s actually going to be dramatic and break the monotony. Thanks for posting the link to Love After Lockup!

    Small Talk: About Big People

Love after Lockup sounds really good. I admit, I bailed on Twit & Co. part of the way through last season, but I missed the snark so I got back into this season. My SO watched some of it with me last season because he was fascinated by the Avi storyline. Then, he became even more fascinated by how truly horrible a person Twit is. He always is saying (somewhat in shock): “it’s not about her being fat. She’s just a mean, horrible human being!” He watched one or two of the episodes this season, but decided he couldn’t continue and was surprised I was stilling watching it (“you hate that show!” he says). I told him I just have to get through the show each week so I can snark on her here! It’s honestly my sole purpose for watching now. 😆 I know there has to be a few of us, but I don’t know how many other Bravo devotees are watching MBFFL. I’m totally Bravo’s bitch though- they put it on and I watch it. The threads for Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, and Below Deck are usually pretty poppin’, if anyone is looking for additional snark material. And @auntjess- I feel I’m already so much more informed on cocaine thanks to your post! Did anyone else ever watch Nip/Tuck? Crazy things were always happening on that show- like drug smugglers putting the drugs in breast implants and then women would have surgery once they crossed the border to remove the implants and drugs.

Oh- this is so precious! I can imagine little kids proudly telling their friends, “My kitten is named Hermione!” (or whatever). That’s a great idea to name them in groups. I’ve never been too involved with cat rescue (except for the cats we adopted as kids) because I have an unfortunate cat allergy, but the kitties always break my heart. There’s so many more of them than even dogs in shelters. It’s awesome that you’re a foster. ❤️

    S06.E07: Big Girls Don't Cry

This is an excellent point. Personally, I like the portability of a cupcake, but I find the frosting to cake ratio off as opposed to a regular slice of cake so I personally prefer cake slices. But, I willingly admit I love cake. My SO’s brother claims he once was in an office where a woman brought a can of frosting for lunch. Took it out of her bag and started eating the frosting with a spoon. I’ve always found this story slightly dubious because I can’t imagine someone doing this in public, but, thinking about Twit, I now see it as a possibility (for the record, this office was not in NC so I don’t think it was Twit).

I think that must have been especially horrible for her because we all know how much she doesn’t really like cake.

While it hurt and I was annoyed to have a black eye, my partner and I laughed a lot about what happened with my pup. We started calling him “Sugar Ray” and we still laugh about it a year later because, ultimately, it wasn’t a big deal. My face healed, I didn’t require medical attention, my dog meant no harm whatsoever, and he’s now more careful. So, yes, I laugh about it quite a lot. I grew up with dogs and cats and we played with them and they never tried to hurt me (except maybe my new rescue kitten who scratched me up when I tried to bathe her and that still wasn’t a big deal), but I’m sure I ended up with some scrapes or scratches that I can’t possibly remember while running around and playing with them or when they still had puppy teeth. I’ve also had to deal with truly violent dogs that attacked my childhood dog when walking and I’ve broken up attacks of other people’s dogs. I didn’t laugh at those situations because those dogs were actually dangerous. I agree with you in the sense that I think it is fine and even advisable that they give the dog back to Lisa. Dogs are work and a commitment. They require training, diligence, love and patience. Dorit and PK are not capable of this. But I still am not sure what actually happened with Lucy because Dorit and PK are grifters who lie about everything. And I still believe if their children were injured, we would have seen photos. So I laugh because it’s PK and Dorit and they are famewhores on a reality show who tend to lie and exaggerate. And whatever that was on PK’s nose was not a substantive injury and probably happened as a result of his own ineptitude. Again, to me, this is nothing like Kingsley who had demonstrably harmed multiple people with intent and caused serious injuries.

Yes, all that shit with PETA is horrific. I’m glad you brought it up- more people need to know about it. No matter how much many of my ideals align with their ideals, I simply can’t support them because of how their shelter is managed (and some other stuff too). Slightly OT, but have you ever read anything by Nathan Winograd? He’s gone after PETA head-on and has some great and effective ideas about how we can truly foster no-kill shelters!

At the opening party, I can see Sonja Morgan stumbling in and yelling, “I party with John John! Here’s some Tipsy Dog for you to sell! It’s sparkling wine, but for dogs!”
