  1. There is some stuff in here I didn’t know: https://screenrant.com/married-at-first-sight-details-behind-making-of-trivia/

    Project Runway: New Zealand

She’s great! She’s enthusiastic, natural, kind, warm, and genuine (and I think she’s darling-looking.) Wish she’d host the American PR! I like the PR NZ mentor very much, as well. He seems straightforward, helpful, and also genuine and kind to the contestants (particularly when he’s having to usher them off the show.) Wish he’d mentor the American PR!
  3. I told the last batch of JWs that I was a Druid and asked them if they’d give me their addresses so that I could come and discuss my religion with them. They skedaddled quickly. Then I called my next door neighbor to warn him of their imminent visit and to discuss with them *his* Druid faith. I’m pretty sure they think there’s an active Druid enclave out here in the country. In any event, they’ve never come back.

MAFS Honeymoon Island: Spinoff Discussion Spot

And now for some armchair psychology: ”BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER. People with borderline personality disorder are unstable in several areas, including interpersonal relationships, behavior, mood, and self-image. Abrupt and extreme mood changes, stormy interpersonal relationships, an unstable and fluctuating self-image, unpredictable and self-destructive actions characterize the person with borderline personality disorder. These individuals generally have great difficulty with their own sense of identity. They often experience the world in extremes, viewing others as either “all good” or “all bad.” A person with borderline personality may form an intense personal attachment with someone only to quickly dissolve it over a perceived slight...Impulsive actions, chronic feelings of boredom or emptiness, and bouts of intense inappropriate anger are other traits of this disorder, which is more common among females.” Whom does this remind you of?

All Episodes Talk: TRMS 2018 Season

Listened to her on Air America and have loved and admired her ever since! (Do I win the award for Oldest, if not Most Devoted, Fan?)
  6. Agree about rural vs. urban. And then there's the small matter of probable Russian disinformation. Redistricting. Plus, we MUST get rid of the Electoral College.

    S11.E19: Live Top 11 Performances

A lot of out-of-tune/flat singing—yikes!—leading to a lot of fast-forwarding on my part....Courtney and Darby being particularly egregious. I loved Wé and liked Christian very much. I think Miley and Alicia are wildly talented, and I enjoy their animated affect and their investment in their singers. Alicia seems to be really in touch with the producer aspects of the job, with the backup musicians, and with the arrangements—both for her own material and her team's.

    S15.E06: There's No “I” in “Team”

Further thoughts: Wiki defines mauve as a pale purple or violet, and other examples look lavender-ish. If the yellow coat had true mauve accents, the yellow + purple could be thought of as complementary colors. The mauve I saw on my tv wasn't a variation of violet, however, but a sickly, nondescript pinky-beige.

I'm gobsmacked that the formless yellow coat with the "mauve" accents and wacky/hideous pocket appliqués was considered stylish! In what color wheel on earth would those colors be considered complementary??????? It truly was the Emperor's New Coat. Am sorry to see Alex go and think he was quite dignified and thoughtful and much kinder than he initially (start of the season) appeared to be. However, his elder-statesman posturing—at the ripe old age of 30—amuses me.
  10. Found this site to watch all the seasons: it's really good. http://projectwatchseries.com/tv/married-at-first-sight-australia/season-2.html Put in the season you want to watch, obviously. Everything about the Australian version seems so much better, imo.

    S04.E05: Honeymoons, Part 2

When using Tom and me as the subject of the sentence, it is not correct to say "Me and Tom had fun" ; it is also not correct to say Tom and me had fun."You wouldn't say "Me had fun." You WOULD say, "He gave it to Tom and me." You shouldn't say, "He gave it to Tom and I," although many people do say this to try to sound erudite. Test the construct by saying, "He gave it to I."
