Jill & Derick Dullard: Counting On (Donations)

At $28, this blouse was on the low end of the store's blouse selection, and Amy made some money on the markup. The fabric would melt before those wrinkles ironed out. The shirt fits Jill across the bust and more or less in the shoulders. The sleeves are designed for someone much taller. It would probably fit Dereck, and the color suits his dour personality.

The unfortunate blouse would be a pain to iron because of its gathered design and cheap synthetic fabric. The sleeves are much too long to look good or be practical. The sad thing is that Jill posted this photo showcasing the shirt without realizing what a fail it all is. That said, it's sold out on the store's website. Maybe Jilly Dilly is an influencer after all.

It takes time to get the thigh gap position just right.

I'd want a bib too if I tried to get that stuff in my mouth and down my throat.

This is the one I used: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/white-turkey-chili/ . I was inspired by Jill's cream soup recipe collection. It's good, especially for garlic fans. Husband and son loved it. Wouldn't adding tomatoes make the sauce pink? Also, who is Aunt Bobye, and how tempting would it be to say Aunt Bo bye'?

Izzy appears to have the same bite as his father does/did. Please don't let whoever worked on Derick work on poor Izzy. The kid's going to have a miserable enough life as it is without ending up with a lopsided face. Does anybody know what's in Jill's white chicken chili? I made one from a recipe from Allrecipes or Taste of Home. I forgot about it, but my family liked it.

    Jeremy and Auj Poj

Thanks @Rap541 for listening to these podcasts. I don't think I could listen to these two whine about their hardships. As for the beating 50 stuff, if my husband and I spent our days parsing every itty-bitty stupid detail of our lives, we wouldn't have made it to 36 years. We also wouldn't have had time to work and do the stuff adults do. The Auj and Jer lifestyle doesn't sound wonderful; it sounds like some punishment.

Not only is the thermometer is advertised but Auj's is touting the essential oils that will protect her and Ember from Jer's illness. That kid must look like an oil slick.

    S10:E1 Meri, On Her Own...

I read Almost Meri'ed free on the Internet--fifteen minutes of my life I'll never get back. There were a lot of grammar and spelling errors, but I don't remember anything as bad as the monkey-typed page in the screenshot. I don't think I could have read past that. Maybe a copy editor got a fleeting crack at the project. Princess Eugenie (Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter) had scoliosis surgery. She intentionally wore an open-backed dress for her wedding to call attention to the scar and the condition. She also posted pictures of x-rays showing the pins and plates. The surgery is quite extensive, but Eugenie apparently had good results.

    History Talk: The Victorian Era

British historian Lucy Worsley's PBS series on Victoria and Albert's wedding is interesting. It goes into more than just the wedding itself and looks at the historical and family circumstances that shaped Victoria's life. It's a good companion piece to the Victoria series.

Meri Brown and her Wet Bar of Tears

Like every pyramid, only the people at the very top end up with anything when the enterprise collapses. Meri will be lucky to recoup her investment. LuluNo is intentionally ugly. The fabrics are flimsy, patterns don't match at the seams, and nothing is tailored. This is to keep production costs very low. That women can be convinced they look good in oversized sacks and mix and not-match patterns--and pay a lot of money for the look--is marketing genius. It's like ordering an infomercial hard boiled egg cooker and slicer thingy and thinking it's going to change your life.

    S06.E13 & E14: Tell-All

I agree. This season started out funny, mostly because of Coltee's man boobs, costumed cats, and doting mother with the slot machine. Asuelu's airport dance and Kalani's reaction were interesting too. However, it quickly turned dark when Steven became abusive to Olga. Only the live chat kept me watching. However, I couldn't sit through the tell alls and watched only intermittently. TLC needs to do a better job with this franchise and reconsider what passes as entertainment in these already difficult times.

I had a very small wedding. After the ceremony, we took our handful of guests to a small restaurant for a meal. We brought in our wedding cake (probably with us in the car that afternoon) with the owner's permission and the waiter cut it in front of us and plated it. As for Cathy's book, honestly, I've lived a long time and have plenty of juicy/inspiring/stupid/funny stories to tell. I imagine most of us do. Is Cathy really famous enough or interesting enough for anyone to care?

Small Talk: 90 Words Per Minute

@ALittleShelfish , You found the picture that seals the deal! Someone on the live chat was wondering how he lived in such a nice house on a Marine's salary. I guess we know now. He doesn't. Are the people in the commercial his family? I only watch him.
