  1. Exactly my thought. At first I thought maybe it was Howard and Randall ended up going there after all but then I realized most of the kids were white and that didn’t add up.

    S03.E13: Our Little Island Girl

I was thinking more about the long gap since she's danced. We've never seen her dance at all, so there's no inkling that it's something that she's continued. Most people, no matter what the field, need a little refresher after 20 years. And maybe that last scene is what we're seeing, but I am betting it will be more like next week she's suddenly gotten a job.

This is pretty much what I was saying as I watched that too. But she is a Pearson now, so you know itlll happen. Lol.

Listened to 4.13 podcast with Maril and Toni. I liked it a lot this time, they were very talkative about the whole season actually, bc it was the last one. Apparently it was very hot weather when they filmed some of it and even set a heat record for Scotland. Also they said they tried to have Claire give Jamie the baby in the scene where she gives him to Jocasta, but every time they gave the baby to Sam, the baby cried.

    S04.E13: Man of Worth

    Yes, I knew immediately.
  6. Maybe I am in the minority, but I don’t see any reason why they kept him alive other than because they like the actor. I don’t like this change from the book, so I don’t really care what happens to him. Lol. And as for Sophie, she has gotten better. The one word that bugs me is “anything,” which she still pronounces as a Brit. Which I could kind of hand wave because her character is the daughter of two Brits, but I don’t think that’s what’s really happening here.

    S04.E11: If Not For Hope

I got such a Dallas, “it was all a dream” vibe from the opening scene! According to this NYT article, they didn’t know in the 60s alcohol and pregnancy did not mix. Not until 1973. https://www.nytimes.com/2005/01/25/health/policy/sorting-out-ambivalence-over-alcohol-and-pregnancy.html

I liked this one actually. I think the writer was interesting. Toni's commentary bugs me, so I have been holding off on 409, lol. I like listening to Maril and Matt.
  9. DS (who is 18 but likes Queen) was not a fan of the movie and is outraged. But all of my friends my age loved it. I’ll see it when it’s streaming probably. I liked Star is Born a lot.
  10. I have not seen the movie, how was it (to those who did)?
  11. Loved the movie. All three were great. I’m happy she won. Can’t wait to see her in The Crown.
  12. Working a Girl is one of my favorite movies. He is looking mighty fine in that film!
  13. I have always loved Harrison. My family (including DH ;)) knows he was my movie boyfriend.
  14. Did anyone notice Yvonne Strahowski (spelling?) was wearing a dress in the blue-teal family? Handmaid’s Tale watchers will understand why I think that’s funny.
  15. Again, I said the same thing!
