  1. So say we all. Sadly, I'm not sure I trust the current regime to deliver this.

    S07.E16: Star City 2040

Well, I got a chance to watch tonight, and I enjoyed it. Though I really missed Oliver. Mia stomping around and fighting people does not make up for the absence of her father in my book. I have to say that I wish they'd cool it on all the "hero" talk--who is one, what it takes to be one, how great your suffering is when you are one. Heroes don't talk about being heroes. They make sacrifices and protect and serve others because that's who they are.

    S06.E09: The Golden Child

I loved Jake’s conflicted response to Amy’s jealousy over David. He wanted to be supportive, but was also a little disturbed by it. “Are you a bad person?” and the whole “Not where I saw that going but we’re going where I wanted so okay!” cracked me up. Then his going off on Mrs. Santiago at the end. So perfect.
  4. Juliana, please close your mouth. The sex-kitten pout is annoying at the best of times. Your trying to work it while made up to look like an 80-year-old (right?) is setting my teeth on edge.

Oh, right! I have to confess that I’ve kind of tuned out during the Argus plots this season. 😬 Thanks!

Would someone remind me who Dante is? I’ve completely forgotten. Thanks!

In TV land, old army buddies only make an appearance if they are officers who never should have been trusted by the hero (because war is bad, people, and the military is the Man) or fellow soldiers who have fallen in with nefarious parties - pre-army gang-member friends or old commanders (see above) - who need to be rescued or shot/blown up only to die in the arms of the hero.

Curtis gone, Stanley dropping truth bombs, baby Olicity? Guess I'm gonna have to watch this one.

    S14 Ep12: Prophet and Loss

Well, I found that surprisingly affecting. I've mostly felt over all the angst of one or the other of the Winchesters sacrificing himself again when, unless Jensen or Jared actually quits the show, it's going to have no lasting impact. But I thought the last scene between Sam and Dean was very nice. I thought Dean looked surprised and maybe amused/proud when Sam punched him. Like he couldn't quite believe Sam had done it. Then his voice cracked when he told Sam he had to promise to put him in the box. Ooph. Plus the little face touch and "Just don't hit me again." Perfect. Other than that, the torture was too much, and I really don't care about Nick's pain.

I guess I'm supposed to care that all these characters I don't like are being stalked?

If Curtis is going to call his own shots, is he still going to be working for ARGUS?

I really, really hate how they've separated Oliver's and Felicity's storylines. I guess they figure if they have the two interact briefly a couple of times an episode it's all good? Look they're still a couple! Now Not Laurel! Dinah! Love them, dammit!
