S04.E13: I Have to Get Out

Agee on Paula -they said she had one stent put in, well usually you just stay 2 days at most with one of those. I had a friend w a bypass that was in the hospital for a week, but IRL Paula would have been out long before 2 weeks. But it made for some good comedy, and I loved having the gals all together: Paula, Rebecca, Valencia and Heather. Agree w posters who say Josh getting back with Rebecca would be too weird given the stalking. No matter if you have forgiven each other, there's a limit IMO. I'm rooting for Nathaniel too, was pleasantly surprised he was the one promoting that they should all be friends, even though Greg was supposedly Rebecca's choice at the time. Enjoyed Madison and Amanda's daughter getting them together, I can see them as sisters with a friendly rivalry.

    Will & Grace

good episode all around. Loved Jack and Grace trying to diet and then realizing they actually look pretty good (for their age). And a good plot with Olivia, Karen, and Will in his Judge Judy robes. At first I didn't like the "Will as law professor" storyline, but now think its great.

    S04.E12: I Need a Break

loved this episode, especially the Paula health scare It was so real Rebecca and Paula discussing how hard it will be /is to change your lifestyle for good. I agree with those that said this episode shows Greg is not a good fit for Rebecca, he's the type to stay home and not socialize, and that's so not Rebecca. Opposites attract, but in the long run goals and interests need to be more of a match. I'm back to thinking she will end up with none of these 3 guys. I think there is too much history for her to get back together with Josh, Nathaniel is moving on (I think), and Greg, is well, Greg. Oh, and I really liked the scenes with Rebecca and her therapist and then her sleeping on the bench to wait for Dr. Chin to get there in the morning. And I liked when she said -am I the first person to sleep on this bench and he was like -not even close.

    S04.E11: I'm Almost Over You

Loved, loved Nathaniel's trip into Rom-com land, and the curveball the show threw by having him realize he needed to let go of Rebecca instead of the usual happy ending rom-coms have. As Nathaniel boarded the elevator after telling Rebecca about his extended daydream and realization, for the first time I felt that Nathaniel is too good for Rebecca, and I won't be unhappy if they end up apart -an odd feeling as I've been shipping them since the two first got together. Anyway, really enjoyed the episode, and while at first I didn't like that they are focusing on other characters more than Rebecca for much of the season, I'm okay with it now -they all deserve to be celebrated and their stories told. Brava to all!

    S01.E11: We Continue to Truck

Yes, malls are dying due to online shopping. Which pulls money out of local economies and towards the big retailers and shopping sites like Amazon.

    S01.E11: We Continue to Truck

Yes, but also I was surprised at how eager they were to move back to Chicago -I would have expected some mixed feelings at least, especially from Mark.

    S01.E11: We Continue to Truck

I was surprised and a bit dismayed that Darlene decided to stay in Lanford because of David. I would have rather had her do it as Jackie is a mess, Becky needs help, or just as she is unsure she wants to uproot the kids away from David. But what can one do? Nothing. Best part of the episode was Jackie's meltdown, really felt her despair and grief over losing her sister. Good riddance to Matthew Broderick -still can't figure out what happened in that scene a few weeks back when I though she kicked him out, but he is out of the picture for sure now.

S04.E10: I Can Work With You

I'm in the minority with you. It was so sad. I don't know where the next 8 episodes are going, but plenty of time for Rebecca and Nathaniel to get back together. Although my money is actually on Rebecca not being with anyone at the end, a solo woman looking at a lot of options for her future.

S01.E10: Don’t Shoot the Piano Teacher

I know this is a sitcom, but really having a hard time believing Darlene would be so overjoyed at moving her and the kids to Chicago with Ben. They haven't been dating all that long, her divorce from David isn't final, her dad is still recovering from Roseanne's death, and she just promised Becky that she'd be there for her when the baby is born. I think this will blow up somehow, but think the whole premise is unworthy of the show.

I miss my weekly visits with Murphy and the gang.

    S04.E09: I Need Some Balance

this ep just wasn't that enjoyable, at least Rebecca's storyline wasn't. I appreciated the concept of her vaginal health interfering with her desire for sex, but the execution wasn't all that funny to me. I did like the Bert/Darryl tussle over the employees, it seemed natural to me that Darryl would feel neglected coming off paternity leave to find Bert was everyone's favorite boss. My favorite line came from the priest when he advocated for a more professional workplace, a plea that was ignored by all around.

    S11.E13: Happy New Year

Did they have Christopher Rich on this year? A story with Miller Redfield would seem in order if the show returns.

    S11.E13: Happy New Year

Loved Murphy pestering everyone, especially Frank, as she was so worried about Avery. And liked how they mixed the danger of Afghanistan with the quirky -like there being a Starbucks in Kabul (there likely is!). The ending was a little anticlimatic as I'd seen the preview with Avery being on the couch. But was still a nice way to end the episode. My favorite part might have been Corky getting carried out of the bar with her "Women rule" proclamation. Love these characters.

    S11.E12: AWOL

Know any older folks? They like to reminisce about the old days. And repeat stories. That is how I saw it, a talk between old friends that had the benefit of giving Avery the idea to go overseas to reset his journalistic cred.

    S11.E12: AWOL

very good episode. So often dogs overwhelm a show, but not Benny. I like Avery going to the war zone, and if there is a season 2 would be great to continue with him making trips abroad except that I want him to still be a big part of the show. Loved Murphy's "I'm bionic" with her 2 hip replacements and Phyllis telling Frank that she won't bring him a menu as it hasn't changed in 40 years so he should know it by heart. this show has been a bright spot on my Thursday evenings.
