    Episode Discussion: TFGH

NuShrink guy real name is Joe Flanigan from Stargate Atlantis. He was a favorite of mine because he can play serious with a side of humor. I would say that he would be a great fit but I think his abilities is far above the show but it was great to see him again.

But she said it was because she has trouble understanding some of the other people. It's not like some people from Amazing Race who get to a foreign country and is annoyed that they don't speak English. Jenna has problems understanding instructions and conversations in English at times so I will not put any blame on her for this one.

All this show did was make me pull out the original show and start rewatching again.

    Episode Discussion: TFGH

I remember it differently. After his accident, they treated him like a brain damaged special child who couldn’t or shouldn’t be allowed to make any decisions because he wasn’t their special Jason from before. They never accepted the new him and that was before he started working for Sonny. The only two people who treated him like a person was Lila and Emily. He always had a good relationship with them. The Q’s didn’t know at that time that AJ had a claim to Michael. It wasn’t Jason that they cared about. It was that there was another generation of Q’s. That scene was one of many where Edward decided that the baby belonged back at the mansion. It didn’t matter if it was with his mother or father at the time. He just wanted another generation to shape into basically him. He did just talk about buying Michael from Carly or that was how I perceived it. Luke had threatened Carly that he would kill her if her told Bobby that she was her daughter. I don’t know if Luke was more worried about if they die and Bobby finding out later it was her daughter/grandson or Luke hoping they would die. This was the era that I watched everyday while it was on. It held my interest most day which is something I can’t say now.

    S16.E04: Surprise...It's Restaurant Wars

They really don't. You have months/years to think up your menu and plan everything about it. You hire wait staff with experience. You don't decorate on the day and most importantly you have at least one run through. Most time you have a few to work out kinks. There will always be problems but you cut down on alot of them this way.

But at least they may have some idea what to do not like some of the other teams that got nothing. They always have inexperience wait staff. Maybe i'm a different type of person but I never get why people who go on reality competition shows don't prepare in advance. If you are going on TC you learn two quick reliable desserts. You have some sort of basic plan and knowledge on how to run FH and EC for restaurant wars. You learn how to use a pressure cooker and every other frigging tool and equipment that you see when you watch at least four seasons of the show.

    S16.E04: Surprise...It's Restaurant Wars

Nope, it's always my least favorite ep. I also don't think it's fair since generally the person who wins or leaves is either the front house person or the EC. The 'line cooks' gets a free pass.

    Season 15 Discussion

That was a different time and a movie. Back then singing comps were new and exciting. She was the girl that both Simon Cowell and Beyonce dissed and that got her as much attention as her voice and oscar did. When was the last time she had something in the top 10 on Billboard. Part of the reason why younger contestants do so well on the voice is because they are focus on the younger viewers. Who else can navigate and vote so quickly on twitter. One thing I wish the show would do is make it more even in the final in the singing order and not push one singer over the other. Each singer should have to sing first in a round and they all should get a chance to sing last in each round. It was very obvious that tptb is wanting Kennedy to win and Chris to come in last.

I think you have judged Blake wrong. I believe that he uses the drunk, good nature country bumpkin to hide a very smart and savvy person. He knows music especially country music. Chris is what I so badly want to hear on radio and my top ten. I want Southern Rock. He has found his groove and there are a ton of people who miss that era/style of music. I don’t need a singer to have a perfect voice or sing a song perfectly. I want to be entertained. I love Johnny Cash and there was no way he had a perfect voice. It’s the imperfects that sometimes makes a song great. Hitting all the right notes sometimes is not as good a version of a song as a quiver here or there.

But even a show called the voice it is not all about hitting the right notes. Garth Brooks once said that he didn't have the best voice out there but he was going to give it his all as a performer. While she does have a nice voice she is not a performer. She's bland. On a show that requires people to vote for you, you have got to be memorable and I always forgot about her the moment she was off my tv screen.

Kirk Jay is making it through on Blake's Team along with Funsho. The only way Funsho is not making it is if Blake has to choose between him and Kirk Jay. Kirk Jay is a pure country singer that is good. Blake is not letting him go. The third person is a toss up between the remaining three guys. They are all good in their own way. It's times like this when one team is stacked that I wish they would do a top twelve instead of having three people from each team because I don't think anyone on Adam's team is good. Maybe they can give each coach one person to get to the top twelve because I will be surprised if anyone on Adam's team last very long.

    Season 15 Discussion

One thing I have noticed about Blake from all the years I have watched this shows is that he allows his artists to make a lot of their own decisions. He suggests things at times but I don’t think he ever said no. If Kayley wanted to drop her guitar, I don’t see him telling her no. Some people are just more comfortable with it. He has won enough of these seasons to know the best way to see what his team can do now and maybe in the future. He is limited by the people that pick him but he does seem to have a winning formula for going far.

    S32.E08: Shaneless

Out of all the teams, the two teams that would use the double vote to vote him in would be the ones he was playing with. It makes sense. In saying that, I don't like him and I think the way he went about was all wrong. You can throw the game without having throwing it in everyone's faces.
