  1. On Q 2 now...this show is a mess! Shawn can't stand still for a minute. Her presentation style is so annoying & fake. Trying to also show us how many layers she can pile on tonight. Not funny. Channel change.

For moments like this...why I tune into the Q more than I should. I missed this one though.

Thanks for filling me in on the Rinna controversy. Wow! Not good. She has a good thing going with the Q selling her clothing. Why mess that up with social media. When will people (and celebs) learn? Respect your job and customers. Clearly, she learned nothing from the last controversy (wasn't it about overweight women or something?). I have noticed that she now mentions how she dresses ladies of all sizes and tries to act excited about it. It comes off insincere to me.

Thanks so much for the mattress info you all provided. I am shocked at how uncomfortable these foam mattresses are. Too good to be true indeed...and they open up a whole new set of sleeping issues (for me, none of them good). I was telling my sister about it. I took the mattress off her hands. She said she felt bad about it and should have cancelled the order as intended. Well, it's my fault for falling for all the hype. I can't spring for a new "regular" mattress anytime soon, so I'll be stuck with this crap for a few more months at least. I think I'll get a topper thingie and place it on top to see if it helps a bit.

Can anyone clue me in on what L. Rinna said/did that pissed many people off ... I guess the most recent incident? I'm just really curious. I'm also too lazy right now to scroll back to find it (if I can even find it on these boards...not sure where to look). Thanks.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think I might have to give up on this. Oh well. Too good to be true. I had high hopes for it, and like I stated above, I really liked it at first. I never thought that it would cause pressure point problems instead of solving them. Strange. I didn't have issues with it getting hot, however, some mornings it was a bit of a struggle to get out of it (like I was swallowed up in the middle). And I do pilates a few times a week , and here I am struggling to get out of my bed...LOL! Crazy!

Checking in here with this...anyone else have a foam mattress? Do you hate it like I'm starting to hate mine? I thought I loved it at first, but my love is fading (almost 3 months of use). I needed a new mattress. My sister had ordered a foam mattress, however, she changed her mind. While speaking over the phone, I told her that I was interested in buying it from her. It's a combo foam w/springs...made in USA. It seemed great at first, but now, not so much. I've noticed waking up with pins/needles (fingers/hands)...legs a bit achy (like I did a strenuous workout)...just feeling crappy. I'm missing my old mattress right about now. Anyone else experience this? Maybe it's just too firm for me? Not sure, but I'm about ready to go back to a traditional mattress and just take the loss on this (or give it to someone).

I was disappointed. I just received the morning blend...supposed to be a medium roast, but it is incredibly weak...weaker than a light blend (and I like light blends too). I messed around with my Keurig trying to get this to work for me, and it didn't help (lowest setting). I had heard good things about this brand in the past, however, maybe it doesn't translate well into k-cups??? I thought I was getting a good deal (on a tight budget and not doing much shopping in recent months), but this one didn't work out. Return on its way. I love my coffee too, and this wasn't up to my taste standards.
  9. She is really fixated on the celebrity nonsense tonight! She keeps repeating herself and asking the same dumb, annoying questions to LR. Very distracting. I can see a little off-topic chit-chat here and there (all hosts do it), but she's excessive. I gave up on the show...wanted to see some of the fashions, but I changed my mind and channel.
  10. Oh no! PLW TSV! $50...nah, don't think so. Nothing special. Did you know fashion can bring people together? Shawn just said it...it must be so. These are your skid marks? LOL! What exactly is Shawn referring to??? I guessed I missed the explanation. Shawn announced her next vacation with her girls in 2 weeks...I think she's buying these for the trip. Personally, I think this line is way over-priced. I love fashion, however, I've never seen anything of interest. No offense to anyone on here, but I can't wait until the "good vibe" message clothes disappear...and take the cold-shoulder stuff with it.
  11. Did y'all catch Shawn's show with McTool...she commented on the different colors in McTool's hair. I thought her hair looked a bit on the sherbet side! At first I thought it was my TV, but no, she did have multi shades going on. Does that curling thing even work? The demos always seem to not really show much curling being done. The before and after pics are always a joke, however, the tool didn't seem that great.

I'm so sorry to hear about Rick's Mother passing away. Not too long ago during one of his shows, he mentioned about going through a lot lately, and he stated that his Mom was not doing well. He always spoke highly of his Mom. I agree about Jane's look...very nice! Even though a lot of patterns going on there in that dress, I thought it worked. Hair and make-up well done. Ade is my fave model too. She's such a pro and always so down-to-earth and funny. She'd crack me up with her responses to Shawn's dumb Monday night questions. Freezing cold weather dressing--yes, what is going on with that? We had this same discussion at work recently. In PA when we had those frigid temps, I saw two guys (in different aisles) wearing shorts one with a hoodie/the other, a t-shirt. I overheard a woman comment to the one guy--he said he was just coming from the gym. I thought to myself...wow, he couldn't throw on a pair of sweats and his coat...that lazy??? The other guy caused me great stress watching him walk through the parking lot as I was walking to my car. In a t-shirt/shorts. I'm guessing his excuse was the gym too, but c'mon, he looked crazy. That had to hurt his skin. I also notice more men at the mall with this look...like any long, baggy shorts during the winter months...not just sloppy looking, but it's winter! Very strange.
  13. Now I have to check out the Philosophy video that's being talked about on here. I hope they didn't smear all the "purity" stuff on their eyes. I can't stand when they demo that stuff and the model is rubbing the product roughly on her eyes to remove her eye make-up. It makes me cringe. My Eye Dr. would go nuts if he saw that. During my last eye exam, he reminded me of eye injuries (also infections/chemicals) due to application and removal of eye cosmetics. I didn't have any, but somehow we got on the issue. He's not against cosmetics (and personally, I do love my beauty products), but he stressed how careful you must be (technique), and to be aware of the ingredient list. I see Shawn was off tonight. Someone above mentioned her comment about coming down with a cold. I'm still amused that someone was brought in for such a short period of time last night. I was surprised that Jane didn't cover, but I realized the big "gem day" thing was starting at midnight. I guess the kick-off would be ruined if she filled in for Shawn's 30 minutes. I wonder if they have a standby each night scheduled (for those unexpected fill-in moments)...or do they just call someone at home and say "get in here...you're needed!"
  14. Yes Booney...good one! Any idea what this little number went for $$? Now you see her, now you don't. I had Q on for a teeny bit (saw Shawn on there). I changed channel to finish watching my show, came back when it was over, and I see someone else filling in. She left sick again. I know this same thing happened once before (maybe more). Not saying she wasn't feeling well or anything, but I have never seen other hosts do this. Most are on there hacking away with their colds and their gravel voices...sniffling, etc. (hanging in there for the duration of their scheduled show). They brought someone in for like 30 mins.??? Interesting.

Didn't see any of the Q earlier today, but I'm watching now, Q2. The pajama lady (Carol H. rep), who is on with Jill, reminded us again of her past pregnancy a few times while showing some lounge dress/nightgown thingy. She's still milking that...hasn't it been a few years now??? Jill said the pj rep used to do her makeup for her years ago and they both go waaaaaaay back! I guess this rep worked behind the scenes at the Q back in the day? I guess everyone ends up a rep there...oh sorry, brand ambassador. Speaking of Kerstin...I caught some of the bra shows yesterday. Interesting exchange between one of the daughters (the one modeling) who was describing her days and how she dresses/wears this bra, etc. While describing this one scenario, Kerstin jumped in about moms being judgy. That's a sore subject for her...I'm surprised she went there. Anyone else see it? I missed the David/Diva moment today. Damn. Booney-- loved the groundhog/David pic. Funny stuff.
