    S03.E13: Our Little Island Girl

I agree completely! Well said about Beth having her own "Jack Pearson." And Phylicia Rashad was wonderful. I loved the gravitas of her character as she went through the school at the beginning of the episode. She was clearly a force to be reckoned with. Beth has been one of my favorites on the show since early on, and I have really been curious about her back story. Her family, her dance background and change of career goals ... it all makes sense with the character we have come to know. I loved the two versions of "I Say a Little Prayer." I assume there are awards for TV scores and casting? This show should win both, hand's down. This is a rare episode for me -- I'm still thinking about it the next day. My favorite episode this season by far.

    S01.E10: Bluebeard's Castle

I liked that too ... my favorite moment from the finale. This was an unlikely series for me -- I'm closer to the Captain's age than Beck and Joe. I was frequently annoyed by the texts and social media tidbits. But I kept hearing about the show and was curious. Binge watched the series and finished at 1:30 this morning. I'm an old time CBS soap viewer and recognized Daniel Cosgrove (Ron) as Billy Lewis on Guiding Light and Michael Park (the Captain) as Jack Snyder on As the World Turns. I've never seen Penn Badgley before this show, but he is a revelation as Joe. I absolutely believed him as the character every second he was onscreen. I'm really curious to see where they take the show next season.

    S02.E02: Midway to Midtown

I loved Paris, Susie, and Midge's comedy set ... But poor Simone! Couldn't they have taken her back to NYC?

    S01.E05: Miracles

Me too! I came to the forum to post about Ben. I loved Jay R. Ferguson on Mad Men and was so excited to see him on The Conners last night. I hope he is sticking around and will be a romantic interest for Darlene in the future.

    S01.E01: Pilot

I really enjoyed it -- favorite pilot episode I've seen in quite a while.

    S06.E16: Beyond the Sunset

I had issues (to say the least) with the past year of this show but found the finale very moving. And Juliette and Avery FINALLY got back together! Also, the last song was my favorite from the series, so I was glad they ended with it.

    S15.E01: Auditions 1 2018.06.04

Agreed! Twitch makes any episode better. Will he be a judge all season, or just this first night? I really liked the tapper -- he was delightful.

    S16.E19: Grand Finale

All is right in the world! Happy with the top 2 and with Maddie's win. She has been my favorite this season, and is my favorite winner since Philip Phillips. The finale show was fun too!

    S16.E18: Performance Finals

I agree completely. I am from the south and like country music (along with other genres). Caleb impresses me as being very genuine and authentic. I truly believe he loves country music and really wants a career in country music. Gabby just seems to want to be a star.

    S16.E18: Performance Finals

I thought Gabby got some stronger critiques tonight ... but then Steve Perry was invited to see her. Maybe she is still the show's chosen one. That said, I voted for Maddie (go Maddie!), but I like Caleb too.

    S26.E03: Week 3

Thank you. I am so glad to hear that. I am not sure I would watch another four week run.

    S16.E17: Top 5 (Carrie Underwood / Mother's Day)

Postmodern Jukebox would be a great fit for Maddie. I have been thinking she is the Melinda Doolittle of this season -- too talented to actually win.

    S26.E03: Week 3

Lavenderblue, thanks for placing the birdcage dance -- I knew it looked familiar from SYTYCD, but I couldn't remember the details. I continue to be frustrated by the speed of this season ... I certainly hope this abbreviated format will not continue next year.
