Jill & Derick Dullard: Counting On (Donations)

Some IV's have sugar. Not an MD and don't no when saline vs dextrose makes sense though. Although we did use it, Pedialyte is expensive. We'd also make homemade Gatorade popsicles.

Jill posts that she hopes no one else gets sick, yet the non-sick kid is practically sitting on the sick one. And no, we never called popsicles "rewards" for throwing up or bleeding or stopping throwing up or stopping bleeding. We gave popsicles to encourage fluids and add a few electrolytes after a stomach bug or flu. @DangerousMinds πŸ€’πŸ§πŸ™‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Hmmm, I'm not sure about that. I think Cathy has been happy and supportive in Derick's goals of being a missionary. Religion seems to be very important to Cathy and she doesn't seem to act as if prestige is important. Walmart may pay well at the corporate level, but I'm doubting it pays enough for Cathy to have that kind expendable cash laying around, especially after cancer treatment and nearing retirement age.

The Duggalos: Jinger and the Holy Goalie

Jinger's head looks photoshopped in the Valentine's photo. Too big and a bit blurry. It looks like a Lifetime steal-the-husband photo.

And if you're Derick you devise a plan, then another one when that one doesn't feel good and then another one and then another one ... Derick has one foot in childhood and one foot in adulthood.

The Lonely Js Club: Jana, Jedidiah, Jeremiah and Jason

There is a lot in between saying I love you and showing loving actions. I think she was more referring to pointing out specific qualities about an individual. But as y'all have mentioned, why in a group, why with microphones and why only as a planned event? I do the trifecta, I say I love you and I'm gracious and generous with my time and words. But I'll also call you an asshole when you are one. So there's that.

Josiah and Lauren: He Has To Marry Somebody

I'm guessing that comment was about something other than baby making. It seems Lauren became pregnant on their wedding night and that's not "taking it slow" in regard to pregnancy. Josiah is right in that the public is curious about when Duggar couples are expecting children. Their parents show was called 19 Kids and Counting. The adult children's show is called Counting On. If he wants privacy regarding his marriage and future children he has options, as do his siblings and siblings-in-law. I didn't get the impression that Josiah was complaining. It seemed he was explaining they opted to go public about the miscarriage to avoid the uncomfortable and sad explanation of having to say why they're not pregnant.

Jinger's hair looks healthy and cared for. πŸ‘§
  10. No matter the history, Valentine's Day is recognized as a romantic holiday. Any boy over the age of 10 should not be sending Valentine cards and gifts to his sister and mom. While I'm sure their relationships are normal in the platonic sense, it still sets off my creep-o-meter.

#huevos? Hashtagging to her Spanish followers now? Great minds think alike @JoanArc! I often don't notice there's a next page of posts before posting myself. Adding a third thought. Miss Cathy seems to be very aware that Jill and Derick do not provide much geared specifically for children, like beds, silverware, etc.

JD and Abbie: Captured Before the Rapture

JD said Jana was the only one who cut his hair. Was she too busy in her nook to teach Abbie?

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

I'm from New England in the days before wi-fi. From when my firstborn was a baby we camped, chopped wood, lit fires, etc. My kids also took archery in summer camp. But there's no way I would have let my kids attend a camp run by young counselors where shotguns were part of the experience. I wouldn't freak out about at all, because it would never happen.

JD and Abbie: Captured Before the Rapture

In my area haircuts for men are as low as $10 - $15. Women's are far more expensive.
