Thank you very much for that link! I really liked Ashlee from the link and see her differently now.

S06.E16: Mack Z vs. Abby Lee

Mack definitely looks like her dad. As far as the solos - they all stunk - but Brynn's had more hip hop moves in it than anyone's and she was the best in the gendre. Mack's only had a small hip hop portion and she did well with it but hardly star quality. Those 2 little girls they put against the minis weeks ago were better. Glad Ashlee called the moms out on knowing exactly what Abby is all about and yet still sitting there complaining about her. They didn't follow Abby - unlike what Jill believes - they followed the money and fame. The behavior of the moms is pathetic - they all at one time have been the odd man out and knows how it feels. Melissa was excluded because of Abby's preference to Maddie, Holly was excluded at times due to her job and then just the fact Nia wasn't as close to the other girls and Jill, Kira and Jess - all had the new mom exclusion that they are giving to Ashlee. Abby keeps blaming the girls and yet there is something that is more important than the girls dancing - it's called choreography. You can be the best dancer in the world - but if the choreography isn't appealing - you are not going to win on your techniques, facial expression or connection to the crowd. Since we have no idea what the routines they are competing against look like - it's easier to blame the kids. I miss the competition with the other groups because you were able to see how good or bad the ALDC was - even if the competitions were fake.

    S22.E05: Week 5

Please explain the scoring discrepancy to me. I just watched the dance of Nyle's and Sharna's on youtube. Maks and Bruno not only held up the 10 paddle but said TEN - now why was there the problem. Are these not scored live as I've always thought but previously to the taping?

Nia's latest song - the one little girl is one of the members of the Dollhouse baby group from Bring It if anyone watches that. Asia's still doing things also.

    S06.E15: Melissa's Announcement

My take: I thought all the dances were great! I loved the Huntsman and would have loved to see what took 1st place as that was one of my favorite dances. Maddie & Kalani were beautiful and I think Kendall did very well in the duet - but you have to dance well every time not just when you're paired with Maddie. Nia and Mac - brought tears to my eyes - but I have to say that unless I knew the background to most of Abby's dances - they wouldn't make sense to me. Are programs different these days where they give a little story to the pieces, especially lyrical, rather than just the dance name, studio and dancers? I'm not a Maddie fan - but I loved her in the dances tonite. You can definitely see how much she has grown as a dancer and being able to express herself. What is this Sia movie? On the other hand - Maddie is done with this - her talking head, her attitude or lack of expression when the announcement was made, seemed to me to be saying - I have better things to do. Mac was another story - either Melissa did not tell Mac before hand and it was highly edited or Mac knew all along and it was a production ploy. Her lack of emotion was either due to shock or she's a lousier actress than I thought. I did actually feel bad for Abby tonite. She's lost a lot throughout the years - almost her studio, her dog, her mom, wonderful dancers and is now involved in the lawsuit. Melissa was so fake when telling Abby and I think Abby finally got it - Melissa's being your friend was all pretend. Yes Abby wanted Maddie to be a star and I'm sure she'd never hold her back - but Melissa's comment about her lawyer telling her not to say anything was the most telling - it's all about Melissa. And Maddie's blank stare when Abby was upset and crying - she seems to have become as cold as Melissa.

S06.E14: JoJo Steals the Show Show

I loved Other!Christy coming in and stirring up the pot calling out all the hypocrisy. Sweet! How she knew about this season's conversations before the season even aired was awkward. Feed a lady of a bunch incomplete footage reels just to cause a problem much? Actually - if you listen when Melissa walks in and greets Christi - Melissa thanks her for either the texts or the tweets. I'm sure someone in LA ( Melissa!) has kept the moms back home informed of everything as she always has to be Top Dog. I loved the dances actually - but can't download the actual competition results to see if indeed they did so poorly but they didn't have an awful lot of competition - it looked like only 3 or 4 other schools were there in a small conference room. I love how much Sara has matured - I always liked that little girl - but Abby saying at the end how it takes Sara weeks to pick up choreography - then why the heck ask them to come out - oh it's only for the show - I get it. I also trying to google Abby and Magic Mike, Abby boytoy Vegas ect with no results - if anyone has news or pics - please post!

    S06.E13: ALDC Does Vegas

Before the Kendall K music explosion - Jill use to address Kendall as Krndall - just as MackKenzie was called Mackenzie - now she's often referred to as Mac Z.

I agree - growing up - I wanted to be an astronaut, a teacher, a nun LOL and a vet. I ended up going to school to be a radiologic technologist - but in truth - I was happy just being married and being a mom. Our parents can guide us and in so doing make decisions that they think are in our best interests - but in the long run - once we hit puberty - we have our own ideas.

But was that what Chloe really wanted? We sit and quarterback - myself included - but we never think about what the kids want. I danced for 12 years and am happy for all my experiences but that wasn't what I wanted to do with my life. Just the latest episode = Maddie admits given the choice of a movie or dance - she'd rather act - even though for the past 5 years - dance was her life. I think Christi like Holly. Kira and Kelly has let their children decide what's important to them and has not pushed them - unlike Jill who continues with the Kendall K BS.

    S06.E12: Brynn's Big Moment

That's where I'll disagree with you Sofia as I thought Chloe was an exceptional dancer and enjoyed watching her more than Maddie, Per her wicki - she's taking classes 10-15 hr a week with Studio 19 - which is where Kendall originally came from I believe. Her choice to only do duets and trios is because she did not want the " Maddie vs Chloe" saga to continue after she left the ALDC - which to me is very well thought out and mature - she wants to move on. I actually enjoy the Studio 19 numbers as they showcase more as far as dance and I think Chloe has improved tremendously - but every one has different opinions and I respect yours.

    S06.E12: Brynn's Big Moment

Looks like Nia is performing at the premiere of high strung movie - whatever that is with her "crew" - so I'm assuming she's singing and dancing. As a matter of fact it looks like the dress she wore to the Kid's Choice Awards was designed by Maya from Project Runway Junior. This is what I like about this family and Chloe's family - they seem to be down to earth and close knit - even tho they are portrayed as something other at times on Dance Moms - whereas I find Jill/Kendall and Melissa/Maddie to be more of their true selves on Dance Moms - very haughty and better than everyone.

    S06.E12: Brynn's Big Moment

As I've said though - I don't think that is Nia's lifelong objective. She's going to roll with the punches for now - experience all she can and take the opportunities presented to her because of the show but choose a completely different path for her lifelong career

    S06.E12: Brynn's Big Moment

Janet Jackson first appeared on Good Times in 1977 and then on Different Strokes as Willis's girlfriend. This came about after her mom and the girls moved to CA to be with the brothers who had made it as the Jackson 5. When I look at Miley or Britney - Nia to me has it all over them on personality, likeability and singing - but I really wouldn't wish that type of stardom like that on anyone as she like Chloe are very nice intelligent young women. I think Nia not being as close to the other girls was because - unlike many of the others - Nia was involved in a lot of outside activities besides dance while they were in Pittsburgh and that has been talked about in her and Holly's talking heads. I think that Holly wants to make any opportunities available to Nia that she may wish to pursue but in the end - I see Nia, enjoying her 15 minutes of fame, and going back to get an education and becoming a professional. I don't see any of the girls having life long careers based on Dance Moms. Maddie will be popular for another couple of years and then fade into the background like the majority of child actors. Her success now to me at least is not unlike a winner of The Voice or American Idol or the star on the High School Football Team - they're popular for awhile and then you can't even remember their name. Except for a few of those winners - you never hear about them any more - or what you do hear is far and few between. Loved Daughtry - he was hot - now where is he?
