    Not a fan of MM's but Colbert is the one who brought it up. I believe this was her first time on the show since her father's death and while they were discussing her eulogy, he asked about it.
  3. Someone singing in a movie doesn't make the movie a musical. Also Green Book won for Best Musical Or Comedy.
  4. Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star is Born are dramas about musicians. This doesn't make them musicals. Mary Poppins Returns is a musical. I found Vice darkly funny but it's kind of in a weird place between comedy & drama. It also almost had a musical scene.

  6. Merriam-Webster says its first known use was in 1951 and may have come from a creature in the 1950 Dr. Seuss book If I Ran a Zoo. This website says its use as a term for an uncool, unhip person began in Detroit in 1951 and spread from there.

    Harriet Sansom Harris is a Julliard-trained actress who has appeared in several Broadway shows (and countless television series, including the role of Felicia Tilman on Desperate Housewives). She won the 2002 Best Featured Actress In a Musical Tony Award for her performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Not exactly stunt casting.
