Yes, that guy shot himself. I don't know how long I'll last on this show, Maddie is kind of unlikable. I get that being wrongfully sent to prison for a decade is awful, but can she go five minutes without mentioning it? She was totally obnoxious to that waiter, who was just doing his job. I found her really annoying to watch, I can't imagine how her colleagues handle working for her. The thing with the brother and his current legal issue. I thought last week the other guy hit him with a baseball bat and Levy punched him in response? How come he was arrested and the other guy wasn't? I mean obviously the guy and his bitchy wife lied, but didn't Levy tell his own story? I like that they gave the DA some backstory about why he goes after defendants so hard. I can't decide if I like the new lawyer working for him though.

Yes, Jackson did give up a bunch of money for the sexual harassment suits. I didn't totally get why, but he did. But that being said, he is probably richer than most people and could do more to help the homeless if he wanted.

What I remember about Callie is that she slept with AJ, but then never actual had sex with Aaron. Or maybe I'm mis-remembering. But I just thought she seemed tentative after the AJ break up. Then in the episodes for Brandon's wedding they said she hadn't dated anyone during law school, so it seemed really surprising when she just jumped into bed with Gael so easily the night she met him.

I liked Davia's date too. I have to say, I'm finding it a little hard to see Callie and Mariana as so active sexually when it is so different than what we saw with them on The Fosters. Obviously, it makes sense when you have a time jump between 17/18 and 22/23, but I'm not used to it yet. I agree it would be nice if Callie was more integrated with the other people at the apartment. I really like the other characters and think it is nice that they are setting up some non-stereotypical young adults. I am really curious about the Jesus/Rebecca pairing we see next week. It will be interesting if they explore how people have different personas at work and in their social life, since Rebecca doesn't seem like anyone who would be into Jesus at all.

    The Enemy Within

It looks good to me too, but I want to see the pilot to figure out the whole story behind the lead's treason/arrest. It seems kind of hard to believe that a woman coerced into revealing information because her daughter was being threatened could be named the country's greatest traitor. I get she'd be blamed for their deaths, but wouldn't people also go easy on her because of the circumstances? There's got to be more that happened.

But surely, Betty's parents would want to bring Betty around too. They wanted Leo this week because Betty wasn't around, but I am sure if she turns up they will want her to come home too. But Betty is the mother and if she can't have custody, I think her wishes will be taken into account. If she wants to go home with her parents, and wants them to help with Leo, Own doesn't stand a chance. If Betty says her parents are terrible and she wants to live with Amelia and have Owen adopt Leo, the courts may note place Leo with the parents. (Assuming she actually has reason to say they are terrible). I can't imagine the court telling someone they can't adopt a child because they were willing to let the baby's mother have (supervised) access to the child.

I really can't believe Stevie thought Russell would be okay with her posting the panda thing. Yes, some people would think it was sweet, but obviously it's against the image he wants to project. Which is why he describes watching the pandas as "going off the grid." But of course it all worked out and saved sick children. This show is like fantasy land sometimes.

    God Friended Me

Yeah, those IT folks would have to really like the guy that was passed over to go along with that. And he didn't seem all that likable. I would think most people in a company that was just sold would be afraid of losing their job and want to impress. I also don't see what would stop Rakesh from going to his boss/HR and saying his staff is insubordinate and lazy. Even if he can't fire anyone, surely he would be involved in reviewing their performance? But good for him for winning their respect the way he did.

Fair point. But I really don't see any indication that her father was abusive and that is tied to her drug use. I think this is just the way they are taking Leo away from Owen, so he is drawn to Teddy now that she's move on. It makes the whole thing more dramatic. I also think it is a total last minute decision from the writers.

I just googled this, and the results show that a felony conviction doesn't mean you can't take the bar exam, but you have to prove that you have good moral caliber. The fact that the conviction was overturned probably helped her do that. What I find interesting is that she managed to get into Yale law school upon release, while her brother can't get work? I guess he got into drugs, but still. I thought the show was okay. I am much more interested in the friend's murder, why she and Levi were suspects, who really did it, and how she got out., than any new cases of the week. Especially if every case is going to be against Kelsey Grammar. But really, it seems like the friend died at a big party out in the woods. Why suspect the best friends unless there is way more to the story.

    S01.E15: The Rock

Delilah and Eddie haven't had sex since Jon died, so if she got pregnant after he died it introduces a third party. The night of the funeral (I think in the pilot) he went to see her, and I guess express he still wanted to be together. Delilah was all, "what the fuck is wrong with you, we obviously can't be together now. It's over." I think Delilah told Eddie she and Jon hadn't been having sex so he (Eddie) was definitely the father. But we don't actually know if that's true. I tend to think it is, because I don't think she would have considered abortion if she thought there was a chance it was Jon's (and if you missed that episode, she did almost terminate). If this show lasts long enough, I expect the baby to get sick and need some kind of transplant or blood donation that reveals who the daddy is.

Right, but Eliot's parents weren't around, so it isn't like Delilah tipped them off to anything. I can see Eliot being embarrassed/uncomfortable by the comment, but I always thought "outing someone" meant telling someone else about the person. It just seemed like odd phrasing.

    S01.E15: The Rock

Rome said last week he was going to go back on them. I assume they will bring them back up, they have been showing his depression in almost every episode. Maybe the truck drove off? I didn't get that specific comment. No one else was around when she said it. Did Gary mean that the kid hadn't even acknowledged he was gay himself? Cause didn't they say this movie was an "official date"? Surely that meant Eliot and Danny had a conversation where they acknowledged it was a date? I mean, 12 is a rough age, and I get that its a hard thing to deal with, but it seemed like odd phrasing. I was actually worried they were going to say that Eliot thought it was just a friends thing and he wasn't gay.

    S15.E13: I Walk the Line

I didn't think Betty tried to give Leo up for adoption, I thought when she had the baby whatever hospital she was at saw she was a drug addict and called social services. Betty referred to "getting Leo back" a few episodes ago. But, if she did, do you need parental approval to give a baby up? I thought if you had a child that overrode parental consent on things like that. I figured she just lied because then her parents would come find her and try and get her off drugs, which she wasn't ready to do. That would be a bit of a retcon, because Betty said when she first showed up she was a normal kid with no issues until she had an injury. Amelia referred to it as an issue with doctors superscribing pain killers.

    S15.E13: I Walk the Line

Amelia did assume Betty had told them about Leo, she even mentioned his name and was surprised they didn't know who he was. But it seemed like Amelia didn't answer them at that point and waited to talk to Owen first. Which seems kind of weird. Did she just walk away from them or something? But last week Betty made me think she was just ashamed to tell her parents, not that she never wanted to know. She said she just wasn't ready to tell them.
