    S16.E15: Finale

I totally disagree on the "frumpy" comment. She cooked some great food, managed her garden better than the others, and was gracious to the end. Props to both her and Kelsey. I think what Tom said about them both at the judging table sums it up for me. And I doubt we'll hear "I choked"...<Blais> from Sara.

    S16.E15: Finale

That sealed the deal for me, although I I would have been happy either way. I love oysters any kind of way...anybody see her recipe for those at the final table?

    S16.E14: The Tao of Macau

I had a Filipino co-worker who would bring in leftovers from his supper. I loved it when his wife made pancit and lumpia.

    The Jeopardy! All-Star Games

Exactly how I got it. I remember the "I Like Ike" bumper sticker on the car.

That look on Buzzy's face was priceless...buzz kill.

    S16.E11: The Greatest

No more than Justin with underwear showing or fluffy ladies with ripped pants.

    S16.E10: Hoop Dreams

Totally agree. Don't dish it out and then be so thin skinned. Damn it, Ed Lee called the burger "unctuous". He and Aaaaaaron Sanchez might break out a dictionary sometime.

    S16.E09: Music City USA

Ha! Watched them live on Ed Sullivan in my early teens. My living room is covered in Beatles posters. Now rooting for Michelle. And, I think she can really cook.

    S02.E11: Operator Error

No, I'm right there with you. I think I watched 3 episodes of House before giving up on it. Every time one of his minions went in the MRI control room I wanted to yell "get your fucking hands off my keyboard!" He spoke to that Pathologist as if she were his secretary. I guess she's as crooked as he is.

Did I miss something? What was the reward for winning the QF? Really, Graham, a dress jacket over an undershirt? Agree "Frou-frou" got called out. Enough with tiny bites and micro crap. This ain't Top Blais.

    S16.E03: Naughty and Nice

Hey it could have been worse....Graham COULD have worn silly ripped skinny jeans like Richard's. By the way, nobody over the age of 12 should wear ripped jeans unless you're dirt poor and don't have the money for new pants. I don't care for holiday themed episodes, but I was glad it wasn't another region specific challenge. Well said.

Yeah, Graham Elliot who sports idiotic white glasses AND sneakers to formal events. He looks like a cartoon character. That being said, I was so happy to see TC back on. I saw it on my playlist and thought it was a rerun of a past season, especially when I saw Blais with his smug self winning the All Stars season. I think that was the one where his gimmick was sticking his tongue out while plating like he was having some kind of divine intervention. I'm sure he'll be along to bless us with his stupid comments this season. I'm liking this group so far, and really like two of the returning chefs in LCK. Also noticed that not once did any of these real chefs refer to the others as "Amazing Chefs", like the kids in TC, JR do. The kids must really be fed some lines.

    S18 E8 One Hell Of A Party.

I agree with this. The last couple of weeks I've started watching season 10 which Christina won. She was almost invisible the first four episodes, while Barbie, Dana, and a couple of others dominated with the drama. I'm thinking the same thing with Jose and Motto...keep your head down, make good food, avoid the bullshit.

Small Talk: "I'll Take Non-Show Chat For $400, Alex."

A thousand times YES, and Fess Parker....I had a coonskin hat. And Robert Horton, old Flint from Wagon Train. (sigh)

YES, Fury was first up after the cartoons, then Sky King and Rin Tin Tin. Roy and Dale were in there somewhere, too. Sometime during the week there was a rotation of Bronco, Cheyenne, and Sugarfoot. Will Hutchins was a cutie. Also Paladin, Bat Masterson, Wyatt Earp. But my faves were The Rebel and Steve McQueen, Wanted Dead or Alive. I had a toy gun JUST LIKE JOSH RANDALL'S!!! And Maverick....always a letdown when it was Jack Kelly.
