    S09.E15 The Calm Before

Hell ya, Sharpies will absolutely survive the ZA. They will outlast anything. My favorite Flair pens. They wouldn't last five minutes, but Sharpies -- they will be alive and kicking. 🙂

I thought she was saving the seat for Henry.

    S09.E15 The Calm Before

The saving grace of The Whisperers will be to have Carol go all "Terminus" on Alpha. We know she has it in her. Alpha will have no idea what hit her. She thinks she's the Alpha? Ha! She hasn't met Carol yet. Not really. All those gross skin-wearing nomads can suck it. They are weird. I don't get why they just don't wander away. It seems like that's what they've been doing for years. Go whisper somewhere else now. The US is a really big place.

    S09.E15 The Calm Before

This episode really got to me. Between this and last week's when Michonne had to kill all the children. This episode reminded me a bit of TWD of old. I actually felt something. While Henry might not have been the best actor, he was Carol's kid. Carol. You don't mess with Carol. She's original recipe. I don't get The Whisperers and their whole territory thing. They are nomads. Just wander away. This part is confusing me. I do, however, find them to be a formidable villain. They are better than the stupid Saviors. Scarier, for sure because they aren't all about dick swinging and speechifying. Upthread, someone said "a bunch of randos" for the people that were killed -- but save the teens -- I didn't find the killings random at all. They were very intentional. You have the Highwaymen, who I actually liked and wanted to see more of and were trying to save the group -- so they were victims of circumstance, but the ones they gathered from Kingdom were very intentional IMO -- the "doctors" of the group -- Enid and Saddiq -- the lady raising the Whisperers' baby, Henry, Tara and then the teens (the only connection is they hurt Lydia's feelings but how would Alpha had known that?). They all did have a connection and purpose for dying. How in the hell did they round up that specific group? Hmmm. That has bugged me. Nothing in this show has made me think like this in a long time. It's so weird. Anyway, I'm still really sad about Enid. Enid! Also -- been wondering about Maggie. Where in the world did she go with Hershel? How are they surviving? Another question -- does Beta ever take off his mask? It must be really rank in there.

I didn't recognize Tara! I didn't hear who they were looking for so I didn't connect. For some reason I thought they were looking for Rosita and it didn't look like Rosita. I was confused. Damn, that was sad. I am really sad about Enid. Enid! Who would have thought. And Tara. She drove me nuts sometimes, but not Tara. And yes, even Henry. The lady with the baby too. Ugh. This was so sad. I cannot wait until Alpha gets hers for this... and she will.

    S17.E02: The Future Is Here

And when it is organic it isn't the head to toe costume look. She is ridiculous and her designs are hideous. She needs to go, stat.

S03.E16: Don't Take My Sunshine Away

I found both Randall and Beth to be ridiculous this episode. Beth shouldn't have even asked about cancelling out of the dinner -- she knew it was important to him and she made the commitment. Her coworkers would have understood. There are some things that trump other things. She could have explained to her boss. The message he left was contemptible. Horrible. Yikes. Not liking either of them right now. They have some serious work to do on their marriage. They are both being very bullheaded.

    S16.E15: Finale

Just some rambling observations: Sara's talking heads reminded me why I didn't care for her all season. Eric shouldn't have taken Justin's "more spice" advice. I would have loved to have seen his entire meal. Padma asked Kelsey "did the dish turn out the way you wanted it to?" for every course. I am glad Kelsey won. Anyone but Sara. She just bugged the crap out of me. Except for the soft shelled crab course, Kelsey's food was beautifully plated.

    S23.E12: After the Final Rose

I like Hannah. Wasn't a huge fan of her on the show, but as my dislike for Caelynn rose, by like of Hannah did too. Hmmm. I think Caelynn was a bit of a snake in the grass in the whole Hannah v Caelynn thing, whatever it was. This has to be making her sooooo pissed, which I am completely fine with. Hannah is awkward as hell, which is hilarious to me. I think she'll be charming. She looked gorgeous in that dress. All good. I didn't hate Colton as much as some did. I think he's still that chubby high schooler inside and very insecure. I think he can't believe the hot girls want him. I don't think it will last with Cassie. I don't get the appeal at all. Girl can't string two sentences together. I thought he was much better with the other Hannah, but whatever.

    S09.E13 Chokepoint

I really wanted to hear Beta's non-whisper voice, and for it to be really funny and non-menacing. I did think it was interesting that unlike every other group, they celebrate when one of their members turns.

    S09.E13 Chokepoint

When the Highwaymen were giving their whole holding the road for ransom shtick I was so ticked off because it was Saviors 2.0 -- so honestly, the whole movie thing was such a welcome comic relief. We don't need anymore bad guys. I kinda loved the whole thing. It was ridiculous, but in a good way.

    S16.E14: The Tao of Macau

The idea that perhaps Sara is louder in a bigger group is interesting -- I wonder if that is what cemented my hate for her early on. Hmmm. She and Kelsey do make food with depth of flavors. I'd like to try one of their broths if they are so good. I don't know if I've ever had truly wonderful broth.

    S09.E12: Guardians

Asperger's is a form of high functioning autism, and it technically doesn't exist anymore, it's all autism to varying degrees. There are very specific criteria that need to be met to be diagnosed with autism. Not all socially awkward, smart people have autism. They could just be socially awkward and smart. I know this is just a TV character. Just wanting to clarify. 🙂

    S16.E14: The Tao of Macau

I am simply not wowed by Kelsey's personality and Sara bugs. Their food must be really tasty, because they cook very basic southern cuisine most of the time. Kelsey did impress me with how she has embraced the cuisine in Macau and has put the flavors into her food. Eric is interesting to me because I know nothing about African cuisine. These chefs don't cook the fancy foods we're used to seeing at this point in the competition, so they must do what they do very, very well. I don't know what it is about Sara that I dislike so much or why I'm so meh about Kelsey. She seems nice enough, but I usually have someone I really like. Eric is so laid back, I'm not excited about him, but I think it would be cool to have someone that specializes in such a unique cuisine win. I know it's not a personality contest, but it does come into play for me as a viewer 🙂

    S23.E10: The Women Tell All

Not a Demi fan. Not an Oenyka (sp... sorry) fan. Not a Courtney fan. I found them all classless. Team Katie. She had Caelyn's and Cassie's numbers. I'm just glad I finally know who Katie is! Jane? Who was Jane and why were we listening to her? Honestly, they should only bring back the last 10 or so. No one cares about anyone else. There's always a Jane who wants airtime.
