Suggestion: Add Cancel Button To Reply Box

I access this site via the Silk browser on an Amazon Fire tablet. If I accidentally quote the wrong post in an ongoing conversation, there's no way for me to easily delete it from the Reply box. The usual methods don't work (and with Amazon's closed system, we don't have normal access to Google Play to switch browsers). In order to clear the quote, I have to reload the page and use the "clear editor" choice that comes up (and thank you for that, BTW ?), and the page reloads again. Otherwise that quote will hang around forever in that thread's Reply box.

A Cancel button that clears out the reply in its entirety would greatly simplify matters. Perhaps place it on the opposite side of the line that the Submit Reply button is on, to make it a conscious rather than accidental choice.

Thanks for your time.
