Cooper Barrett vs. Other Shows & Movies With Wry Sarcastic Fourth Wall Breaking First Person Narrations

I unexpectedly liked it (keeping in mind it comes from a kind of inherently dumb genre of movies and TV). For the first person/fourth wall breaking narrative point of view, the obvious ancestors are in the movies, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and on TV, I'd say the most direct (but far from only) path could be drawn from Parker Lewis Can't Lose.

Which like Bueller is about high schoolers, not 20-somethings, so I suppose less for the POV and more for the slacker vibe, we also have to toss in the 20-something slacker films of the 90s, like the Bridget Fonda, Campbell Scott, Kyra Sedgwick film Singles, the Winona Ryder and Ethan Hawke film Reality Bites, etc.
