Food Network. I sort of found out about it by accident myself. :) Someone had mentioned Sunny in another show thread so I went to find out what she's up to besides The Kitchen.

I don't even eat meat and enjoyed this orgy of food porn and cooking tips. Geoffrey and Sunny were great hosts. I'd love to see my meat-eating partner treated to these and see what he thinks.

I don't think I ever hungered for a steak like I did last night watching the best steak houses!  While Peter Lugar may have the best, according to the show,  I would have gone to the place in Cincinnati.  It was #2 on their list.  I'm still wondering about the couple in Houston, I think, who order the 32-oz. steak!!!  They said they took the rest home, but that's still a lot of steak!

 

GZ is actually getting some enthusiasm into his voice.  I think they feed him uppers before the taping!  I've always enjoyed Sunny.  She's just like her name.

I loved the steak episode! One of my favorite meals.

I think Geoffrey and Sunny are great together. He seems to be enjoying the fact he's not critiquing food on Chopped.

I actually had a steak (10 oz. strip) for dinner before watching this.  I thought I was being pretty indulgent, so it was weird to hear everyone talking about the teeny-tiny cutesy 10 oz steak that you might consider for a light lunch.

I finally caught up to the burger show.  Did I hear correctly that one of the restaurants (the pie place I think) uses prime beef for their hamburger, which they then slather with cheese and their signature secret sauce?  Could using prime beef (and paying twice as much) possibly be detectable in that application?

I think the meat will still taste better no matter what you put on it. I could tell the difference the first time I had a Kobe beef burger versus a regular hamburger. The texture was different, tasted better, and the juice was running down my chin the entire time. :)

I guess I'll find out soon after I win Jeopardy!  Until then, if I'm paying $40 a pound for beef before restaurant markup I'll have it in a chunk, please.
