S06.E01: Vegas 2014.09.25

Clip one looks good, clip two....really show the WHOLE family involved in Snowflake Academy...sigh.

And sorry but Amber has always been the most adult of all the "grown" kids even while a total screw up.

I think the Snowflake Academy story might just do me in. Why can't Kristina just get a normal person job? Why does she have to be Mayor! School Founder!

I'll watch the final season. I know I will. I've never watched a show before in which I disliked so many of the main characters. Are any of them not annoying? Anyone?

Same here. But I think I might hate myself because I keep watching. True, mostly on FF and to make sure I debunk the autism bullshit that Katims likes to spread around

Yes, the little girls! Thank you for reminding me! Hopefully they are both still too young to begin the Braverman Overtalking so I can finish the series still liking them.

And alexvillage, as a parent of a son with ASD, I appreciated a lot of what you had to say in the Parenthood thread on TWOP. Keep it up!

Thank you Libby96! Everything I say comes directly from Autistic adults Sometimes almost direct quotes), many of them activists. It is great to know some people are listening!

Thank goodness this show will end before the baby girls are old enough to really talk and therefore take on the required Braverman interrupting and overtalking.

I am probably risking an eternity of TeeVee hell for this, but...

In the final season, I wish Max would commit a horrible crime, while Adam and Kristina get charged with aiding and abetting for their complacency in raising him. Then when they get him off on The Snowflake Defense, the victims sue them in civil court and they lose EVERYTHING including The Lunchonette..

Oh please, no!

Not because I can't stand the character, but because it would just fuel Katims bullshit idea that Autistic people are burdens on their families and cause them suffering. In real life there are numerous cases of parents murdering their Autistic children and being portrayed in the media as heroes, martyrs and what they do as mercy killing. And the Autistic victims become the true causes of their own murders, which in turn makes it harder for Autistics to be valued. Not to mention that every time a mass murder happens, the first comment in the media is that he/she (usually he) was/is a "loner" which became code word for "Autistic".

The Autistic community does not need that

Your comment though makes me fear that that's a real possibility in Katims view of autism :(

Or, in addition to losing everything in civil court, their criminal defense fails as well and the final shot is of the entire Braverman family  sitting in a jail cell.  Isn't that how Seinfeld ended?

Okay I like most of the show except Snowflake Academy, and Hank's daughter issue, and Joel somehow being the bad guy in the breakup.

Amber and Haddie were my favorite. I don't think Amber is having a hard time being an adult, she's just depressed. If the show can make autism a show piece why can't other mental issues be brought into the plot? Loved Amber's OB.

I can't believe after ALL Julia put Joel through SHE gets the hott love interest and to be happy and Joel is the bad guy who didn't man up fast enough for her. ugh!

I already deleted this off my dvd, but did they say it's been 8 weeks or months since the season finale?

I also enjoyed Haddie and Amber bonding over their fight in S1, and Amber having all sorts of questions regarding Haddie and her girlfriend and how she identifies basically.  I hate that we had a time jump for some story lines b/c I wanted to see more of the Braverman clan reacting to Haddie's news.

Way to go Julia, she was getting some hot action from a hunk, not that Joel isn't a hunk in his own right of course.  I'm glad that we are finally going to see Julia tear into Joel now that he wants to talk and work on their marriage, damn right, even though I want these two to work it out.  I was glad to see that we didn't get the storyline of Julia getting knocked up from her one night stand last season. I really thought they would go there for some reason.  Again with the time jump, it seems Julia finally found work again as a lawyer.

I was surprised that Adam was able to get through to Max, b/c let's face it, these two usually cave to this boy and his fits.  I figured we would have a few episodes of Max refusing to attend the school, so they wrapped up this fight pretty fast for this show.

I...didn't hate it? I should have. Max is still kind of the worst and so are his parents, Jabbar and Jasmine were barely there, Zeek is a deeply infuriating human being, I don't much care about Hank's daughter, Julia's new guy does nothing for me. But I didn't hate it.

I think it's Haddie. I love Haddie.

I also really enjoyed seeing Haddie and I enjoyed seeing Haddie and Amber bond.  I too, would have liked to see more of the family reaction to Haddie's new relationship.  And I also just enjoy the energy of her character. I actually also enjoyed the sibling bonding in Vegas and Julia's interaction with her mother, which I have always found to be an interesting relationship. Victor really underwent a growth spurt over the summer.  I am actually OK with the changing dynamics of the Joel-Julia relationship and I can see how Julia is perhaps ready to move on...I think we have all had a serious relationship in our life where at some point we had to make a decision about whether it was worth sticking it out and fighting for it or whether it was time for everyone to move on.  I think exploring that tension would be an interesting way to engage their relationship for this season.

I have to say, I kind of enjoyed Max's stubborn stance. His mom goes through all this trouble, builds and opens a schooling 8 months for HIM, but nobody asked him if be wanted it! Go Max! Rebel against the snowflake dictatorship!

And Zeke will die of a heart attack at the same time Amber has her baby. Which will be a boy, and his middle name will be Zeke. (Not a spoiler, just guessing)

- Love Haddie and the Haddie-Amber bonding.

- Hate the school plot.

- A viewer on Twitter said she thinks Zeek's heart problems are a red herring and that they'll have a kid die. Interesting theory.

- That being said, Zeek is an idiot. Heart problems are nothing to mess around with.

- Don't care about Hank/Sarah; they do not have any chemistry and they bore me. Don't care about Hank's daughter Ruby.

- I am all for Joel and Julia working things out, but it's a toss-up at this point.

I love that Kristina thinks that her school will be a magical place where there is no bullying ever. By "love" I mean "find hysterical." Newsflash, Kristina, in any school, or really any place where a large group of kids spend lots of time together, there will be bullying of some nature. Adults have to be vigilant.

It might be an interesting story, though I doubt they'll do it, if Max became the bully at Snowflake Academy. He certainly is used to getting his own way, he's grown into a tall kid who could easily physically intimidate other kids, plus being the son of the founder/principal (? What exactly is Kristina's day-to-day position?) paired with his reluctance to be there at all...I can see it.

You see, this would actually be an interesting twist. Everyone expects it to be either Zeek or even Camille, but one of the kids would be really heart wrenching and dramatic. Like, who would see it coming? Imagine someone like Jabbar or even Drew dying either through a horrible accident, or they get really sick. It's something that does happen almost as often as people dying from old age. But I think the show is more likely to go with probably Camille or Zeek dying. It's probably going to be Camille, if they want the 'dramatic red herring' with Zeek. Have him act his usual 'I don't care', Camille dies of a heart attack herself or something and that snaps Zeek into taking better care of himself.

I love Joel/Julia, it makes me sad that they're not together but I think they will reunite in the finale. The show may do things as realistic as they can, but they are aware of how popular Joel/Julia is so I would imagine they would want them together, especially with a death looming this season.

This Snowflake Academy plotline is just hilariously sad at this point. But hey, Max isn't on board! Seriously though, Kristina has no experience in the education system. It's like my mother, who had been a kindergarten teacher for a few years, start her own law firm because she likes to be right. It makes zero sense.

Hank/Sarah? Urg. I like Hank and I like Sarah when she's being a mother. But them together is really painful because I just don't care. Sorry.

All in all, I guess this could be a good final season? I wish there was no Snowflake Academy and less Sarah, though, because that would be great.

I thought Adam said it was 8 months that Kristina had worked to get the school going.  But that doesn't really match up with Amber's pregnancy.  Would she be 8 months along, since Kristina didn't have a school at the end of last season, which is when Amber last saw Ryan.  Or am I confused?

I'm also confused on the Snowflake Academy.  Wouldn't the students all have Autism, like Max?  If so, how likely is it that they would all be shaking hands with Kristina, making eye contact and smiling as they went inside?

I spent a really long time trying to figure out how far along Amber must be. They definitely said 8 months but there's no way she's 8 months pregnant? Also, they said that Kristina's school was done on a tight schedule--8 months is tight for an entire school renovation/startup/recruiting 38 (39!) students but 8 weeks is tighter. So if it has been 8 months, then how is Amber not getting ready to give birth?  In the season finale she went to get a pregnancy test, like hours after having sex w/Ryan in his hospital bed.

It has not been 8 months. Amber is nearing her second trimester (her OB telling her it's almost "safe to start telling people").

Yes! To the above posts! Adam said Kristina was working on the school for 8 months. Not sure what it meant, as working on the school could include all the planning, not just construction. You can't create a school from scratch in that time.

Amber wasn't showing yet, the doc said it was time to start telling people, so that would mean 4 -5 months.

Those kids going into the school didn't look like "snowflakes" to me. Is the whole point to have a school for kids like Max? Kids who cannot succeed in a regular school? I'd expect them to be a bit more anxious about a new school, these kids looked assertive and confident, eager to learn. And does Kristina think that ALL schools don't outlaw bullying these days? Just saying it won't happen won't make it so.

I don't know if the school is for Autistics, but there is no such thing as "looking Autistic". The idea that Autistics cannot this, or do too much of that, is part of a big misconception and lack of real understanding of what autism is.

Having said that, and not having watching the episode yet, autism is a disability and does require accommodations. If Kristina wants a "special" school, she needs so much more than her (self proclaimed) expertise and love. She needs teachers, a lot of them, and para professionals, a lot of them, to individualize the curriculum for all the kids.

Inclusion is not for everyone, but it should be the default. Students should be given a chance to learn equally, teachers should be provided with the resources. Then, if the student (and the team, but with the student's participation) concludes that inclusion is not the best, them other options should be explored.

I agree that Max would benefit from homeschooling. I have lots of friends who do it (for their Autistic kids, for different and varied reasons) and the overwhelming majority is doing much better.

I also agree that they should have talked to Max about the school and why. Not that he is the decider about his education, but because he likes to be in charge and that would have been a good start to get him to be responsible for his acts.

But what am I saying - this is Parenthood, Braverman way.

I only saw bits & pieces of the show as I was flipping over from the new Murder show on ABC - I didn't like that one enough for it to keep me from not watching Parenthood for the final season - but - from the small amount I saw & reading the posts here, it doesn't appear as though much has changed in the Braverman world

Yes to the poster(s) above who hoped the show ended before either of the 2 little girls time warped into typical overtalking, self-involved Bravermans

And now that Haddie has been found & included back into the show - is that poor little dog still among the missing?

I officially love the construction worker guy. "So you guys built this school for your kid and he's not even going here? Harsh." Hahaha! I was already so annoyed with Adam and Christina when they let Max barge in and interrupt their conversation, so it cracked me up that the construction guy immediately saw that they let Max dictate everything in that family. My only guess as to how Haddie turned out so differently is that she was raised by wolves and/or determined to get the hell out of there by getting a scholarship.

Listening to Adam, Christina, and Max all talking at the same time while walking around the school made me want to muzzle and gag all three of them. I swear, there is no parenting left in Adam and Christina. Max dictates everything and they just roll over. He announces he is going to continue home schooling instead of attending Snowflake Academy and then tells them that he is going to get pizza. Their response is, "No, Max, we're not done talking about this!...Okay, he's gone." The complete lack of discipline, boundaries, or consequences for his actions just kills me. Adam and Christina are the worst. One of the pros of the show ending is that I will never have to see how obnoxious Nora ends up when she's a teenager.

One thing I love about the Braverman clan is that they consider everyone to be family. Joel, who married into the family but is separated from Julia, is more than happy to help Christina, who also married into the family, with a whole lot of manual labor - and for free! I still remember in the first season when they had a girls' night, Sarah introduced Christina to someone as her sister (not her sister in law) which I found really sweet.

Another huge con of Amber's pregnancy is that she's going to be even more emotional than usual which means more moodiness and crying. Great! While I understand Amber being annoyed about Haddie's complaints that she will have to take a train to see Lauren in Prague (and really, I do understand Amber's point of view because I am one of the few people I know who didn't go abroad during college because I couldn't afford to go either), calm the hell down there, girl. And for the record, Amber's half assed painting with a paintbrush was pretty useless.

But at least that provided us an opportunity to see Haddie being awesome again. She (rightfully) was gobsmacked about Amber's pissy attitude and then went to her place to tell her so.

Christina is so naive. Just because you want a school to be a safe place where no one is bullied doesn't mean that's what it will be.

Since Camille was in on the surprise trip to Vegas and she was the one who packed Zeke's bag for him ahead of time, I will have to blame her for the horrible shirt and douchey hat he was wearing at the casino. He was such a pain in the ass at the hospital. Stop arguing with the doctors and let them do their job!

Adam and Crosby can also STFU. Listen, Adam, when you are in the ER and dealing with a difficult patient, you don't always have time to be harangued by your sibling on the phone. "Can you believe she hung up on me?" Why, yes, Adam, I can. She told you what was going on and that she had to deal with your dad who you could clearly hear yelling at the doctor. Why would you think that she would choose to stay on the phone with you to get important advice like "Make sure he listens to the doctor" instead of trying to calm your dad down? If she had heard what you said about her after she hung up, she probably would have hung up again if possible. Then he blamed Sarah because their adult father decided to leave his hotel room to gamble some more? Was she supposed to sit next to the bed and watch him sleep instead of going to her own room? Gawd. I loathe self-righteous Adam. And as upset as he was about Sarah not answering her phone, he didn't answer the phone when Julia called. Did any of them think to call Camille while they were gambling?

I was baffled by Julia's outfit when she went to Camille's house - all dark clothes and light shoes?

Part of me felt bad for Hank dealing with Ruby. The last time he saw her, she was a sweet little girl. Now she's a cranky teenager who sulks, talks back, and doesn't want to tell you anything. But at the same time, I don't give a crap about Ruby or Hank. My only hope is that this will cause Hank and Sarah to break up immediately, but my suspicion is that it will be an endless source of conflict for the entire season. No thanks!

I also have no desire to see Natalie. I was really hoping she and Drew had broken up over the summer.

I think Adam meant that Kristina had been working on the idea of the school for 8 months, since she thought about it and then they had to find the perfect building. I guess we have to assume it took a few months to plan the school. They found the building when Amber found out she was pregnant, so that's about 3 months? I don't know.

I though it was silly that the building is in absolute chaos two days before opening. I would Joel fixed the plumbing the day before opening? Um, inspections? I know, I know, Bravermans are special and don't kowtow to silly municipal requirements.

Nice to see Haddie and Amber being cousin-buddies again, but dang, that red dress made her boobs look saggy.

Victor looked so much older, and it was nice to see those kids not crying and screeching and carrying on.

I agree that Zeek is a red herring and that it will probably be Camille who dies.

Oh, and Camille had Zeek's suitcase packed for his surprise trip? Yeah, I can see that; I could pack a proper bag for my husband. But how many husbands could pack a suitcase for his wife? Anyone? Anyone? Heh.

Though I liked that time has moved on with the Braverman's, I didn't like not knowing the details--especially Julia suddenly having a job.  That was such a major storyline last year and suddenly she is in some office working doing something, and I want to know the deal.  And I was so confused about the guy....after last season and a couple of guys in the mix I was confused to see someone totally different.

I also wasn't sure who was living where with Hank and Sarah.... maybe I missed some parts, but do they live together?  I can't tell one apartment from the other.

I did find it funny that Max didn't want to go to their school, and I don't really like Max, but that was humorous.

Hank told his ex-wife that his girlfriend didn't live there, and Sarah's place is a much smaller basement apartment I think, if she hasn't moved.

I fell asleep about 40 minutes in and woke up just when it was over, so have to re-watch, but all in all, I was glad to have this show back.  Everyone is pretty much in character, and I can attest that Zeek's behavior in the hospital is not at all uncommon.  If I recall from last year, he has atrial fibrillation and if he doesn't follow through with his medications, etc. he could have a stroke.  I honestly do not want to see one of the kids die, and cancer has already been spotlighted, so I'm guessing Zeek is likely a goner. But having him left to deal with Camille's absence is a good twist.

Is Haddie around now or is she leaving to study abroad? There is unlimited money in this family. Columbia, studying abroad, etc. In the real world, I don't believe Columbia gives scholarships---only need based aid. I remember her dad groaning over the $50k+ a year tuition, so I don't think they qualified for aid.

As someone who works in the medical field with Zeek's personality in general and his history of having to be talked into even taking blood pressure meds by Crosby in the past he was totally believeable right down to leaving AMA. That is why I love CTN so much b/c he nails Zeek every time. What I got from the previews is Zeek has some kind of unstable heart issue that could be corrected with surgery but is not neccessarily fatal so Zeek refuses the risk of surgery vs possible sudden death. Also very in character for Zeek. I think he won't have the surgery everyone will badger him and then WAM Camille will die instead.

I agree with those that the 8 months was meant when they started working on the school concept which was part of last season. Also Amber's OB doctor talked about termination so I would say she is around 12 weeks b/c that is considered the "safe" time to tell family b/c risk of miscarriage drops significantly then plus an abortion isn't a great option after 12 weeks. Add to that it will be on line for her to have the baby around finale time b/c she'd be due in April which they could fudge til May or show her as a new mom before the end.

My main problem with the Joel/Julia issue is it has only been three months, and I'm sorry I just don't see the Julia of then being the Julia of now all roses and EVERYTHING going her way. Let's not forget WHY Joel left in the first place. I have always disliked the kind of wife Julia was to Joel and he just needed to decompress and be. Plus are they even divorced or just separated still? Her willingness to jump into a full on relationship with "college" guy while still storting it out with Joel is very unfair to both that guy and Joel. But Julia is being true to character it has always been Julia's way or no way. ugh!

I hope Joel meets a nice new woman and leave Julia to college guy, who while cute seems to have a kind of douchebag personality at first impression. I don't see him liking kids much.

So thrilled to see so many of the TWOP voices over here - esp. alexvillage.

I actually though Max had a great point with "Nobody asked me" - and with that, the school makes absolutely no sense.  Homeschooling would have been fine.

I also think Zeke is a red herring. I think Camille is going to die. Adam drove me crazy during that whole Vegas scene.  Your sister is an idiot but she can handle this on her own for one evening. Quit being such a macho hero.

I'm happy Julia moved on. He was a jerk towards the end and was refusing to talk to a therapist or meet her half way. Now that she's doing OK with a job and a man, he wants back in. Nope.

How did Ruby go from an awkward 11-year-old to a pill of a 15-year-old over one summer? Oh well.

Also, I agree that Zeek could be the red herring but instead of Camille I think they could have the really unexpected twist of it being Amber who dies perhaps in childbirth [not unheard of even these days]. Agree nice bonding with Amber and Haddie and am glad Amber finally told Sarah. Also, refreshing that, instead of Sarah doing her usual bit of either being totally gushy or going into a rage, she just was so stunned at the news that all she could do was  say 'Oh,'

With all that texting re Zeek's condition to the kids, I wonder if anyone thought to notify his mother Blanche [or are we supposed to forget she exists like we did Haddie for most of the last season].

Not exactly happy that Drew's with Natalie but, at least for now, she seems willing to be cordial to his family and even helpful so at least for the time being it's working.

Also, while I agree that who Snowflake Academy deal was poorly pitched to Max [who likely viewed the late Gwen solely as someone who merely took away Kristina's time from HIM] , I did like that, after Adam's talk, Max FINALLY did something for another person's sake that he didn't see had any direct benefit to him or his hobbies.

Nothing more I can add to everyone's already great comments regarding the time line, Snowflake academy and Max's still awful behavior.

I still have a problem with how Amber got pregnant, since when we last saw Ryan he seemed to be really f-ed up physically, but whatever.

What happened to the super special teacher that was going to be part of Snowflake Academy, I assume the actor's availability didn't work out so we just forget about him?  I mean they mentioned Bob Little, they couldn't mention that dude?

I agree I feel something else must of happened between Julia and Joel in the last 3 months or so, because it looked like a reconciliation was in the works when we last saw them in May?

And what kind of school is the Academy, middle school to high school?

I couldn't understand the overtalking conversation that the kids were having while painting.  Is Haddie going to be leaving again?  I heard her girlfriend is in Prague.  So I'm confused, once again due to the talking over each other.

I liked the whole scene between Amber and Haddie, there were no tears and we got explanation about things.

I don't mind the whole Hank and Ruby storyline, accept that it looks like it will bring the ex-wife back into the picture and probably cause a stupid storyline of Hank being torn this time. Ugghh.

Wow, this show and the complete disregard for linear time and logic...

* Amber finds out last episode she was pregnant 15 min after doing the deed with Ryan

* Now its 8-12 weeks later and...

-the Snowflake Academy is ready to open in spite of the fact that permits, construction, inspections, admissions, staffing takes many MONTHS or years to do in non Braverman world

-it's Aug/Sept time frame, so why isn't Haddie back East for college?  Please don't tell me she's doing an "internship" at Snowflake Academy

-wasn't Baby Aida blonde and have a much lighter complexion as an infant?

-as others said, what the hell kind of school is Snowflake Academy??? Is it for "gifted" kids?  Bullied kids?  Autistic kids?  I'd love to hear the fake tuition for this fake school...39 kids with special needs and customized lesson plans/instructors in a downtown SF rehabbed lofty space...maybe THAT's why Haddie isn't back at Columbia.

-Adam can run to Vegas 48 hours before his stupid school opens?  I guess St. Christina can handle it all.

-Max had better hope Haddie & Nora have understanding partners in the future because once his idiot parents are gone no one else in the world will tolerate him

GAH! This show

Yes, Max saying "no" is one of his qualities, actually. Annoying sometimes and nothing to do with disabilities most of the time - more to do with him being a brat and with his parents not knowing how to parent, but "NO" is the most important word in self-advocacy

So, timeline is messed up. In a Braverman world even time needs to fit a Braverman schedule

Yeah, this time jump is really frustrating, so I'm guessing they will have to fill in the blanks throughout the season, oh hell who am I kidding, they will just expect the viewer to fill it in.

I felt bad for Julia when she received that picture showing her siblings and her dad having fun in Vegas.  I know she seemed relieved that her dad was okay, but also probably sad b/c it wouldn't have taken much for Adam and Crosby to pick her up as well for the mini-trip.  I always forget, is she or Crosby the youngest?  I fell like the other three siblings treat her differently.  I also agree that something must have happened during the time jump b/t she and Joel, b/c when Joel shows up at the school to drop the kids off for manual labor before being roped in as well, Kristina and Camille acted liked they had not seen Joel in a long time.

I'm thinking that Amber and Ryan were shacking up after he got out of the hospital, basically she was taking care of him while he healed up.  I'm guessing that Amber, once again enjoyed taking care of the guy she loved, sex was had, and she again pushed they would be together, and he bolted again, but now she actually was pregnant.  I still don't buy that one time in the hospital lead to her being pregnant, I know it's possible, but the fact she purchased a pregnancy test right after was ridiculous, but that has been discussed to death.

I didn't think it was clear if Sarah and Hank were living together, or else I just didn't pay close attention.  I have a feeling Hank and his ex will end up getting back together/reconnecting during the season.  The fact that she was surprised by him and how much he has changed was very telling.  I do think that the daughter will cause friction b/t Sarah and Hank.    Perhaps b/c I just finished watching Gilmore Girls season 6 on ABC Family, but I loved how Hank wanted Sarah in his daughters life whereas Luke kept Lorelai away.  The storylines parallel each other and might just work out the same I have a feeling if the ex-wife causes friction.

I also think this is where Mr. Cyr/Jason Ritter comes back into play.

So will it be Zeke dying of heart problems, or will it be Camille instead?  That is the million dollar question here.  I have a feeling it will also be Camille, and I will be pissed if that turns out that way.  She has always gotten the short end of the stick on this show.  The last show I know where they pulled this trick was the Closer, and let me tell you that I saw that twist coming and it was worth it b/c that scene was just heartbreaking.  All I have to say is this show better bring it if they pull the switcheroo and kill Camille off instead.  With this show and how the kids treat the mother, I'm guessing they will have the funeral in the morning, then Camille is never spoken of again.  My other guess is Kristina's cancer comes back.

So I researched and Hank's daughter Ruby was in fact 11 in 04x04. All of a sudden, she was 14 last season. Magical TV aging.

I'm not sure if it will be Zeke or Camille who dies.  I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a biological Braverman, but someone like Joel or Hank instead.  Someone close enough to make the family realize how much they all love each other.  Yada Yada Yada.

It hasn't been established who the father is - has it? Amber isn't exactly celibate or selective...

I'd completely forgotten about the Snowflake Academy. Not just "Oh yeah, that's where we left off" forgot but full blown "Men in Black neuralizer" forgot. Oh my lovely self-conscious, the things you do to protect me.

I'm sure that Max hearing "We built this school for you" over and over again won't affect his behavior towards the other students one bit. No issues of entitlement or narcissism could possibly result from that.

I think the thing with Zeke is a bit of a red herring. We're going to think he's a goner when it's going to end up being someone else.

So nice to see Amber and Haddie being cousins and friends. Those scenes were really clicking and kudos to Haddie for saying "I wasn't going to say anything but I didn't want to be passive-aggressive." Good to see she's unlearning some of those Braverman traits at college.

Every time I see Hank, I'm reminded of how good "Men of a Certain Age" was.

I don't understand how a very wealthy (obviously) retired, (obviously) couple like Camillia and Zeke went through a whole season almost splitting up over it, moved from one very large family home to an even LARGER family home with many floors and an endless yard ( by the looks of it). I thought they were downgrading for their twilight years together, just the two of them.
