  1. Season 35 Final Jeopardy Contest

Just wanted to let you know I won't be reporting my scores until January 29. I'm going to Detroit for the US Figure Skating Championship (as a spectator, not participant). Just as well as I'm 0/4 so far this week. Back in competition for the worst score award!
  2. Jeopardy! Season 35 (2018-2019)

I'm so sorry you missed FJ, @j5cochran. I must say that you have a beautiful voice. I wish I could have listened to it for a lot longer. Thanks for doing this forum proud!
  3. Blueberry pie in December/January? There's a diner I go to all the time that's known for its pies and I've never seen blueberry pies there except in the summer.
  4. Jeopardy! Season 35 (2018-2019)

Thanks for this information, @j5cochran. Sometimes contestants start to answer before Alex calls their name and I always wondered how they knew they had rung in first. Now I know!
  5. Season 35 Final Jeopardy Contest

    3/5 with one *.
  6. S01.E10: Six or Seven Minutes

Especially since in the pilot, all she did was run around the country publicizing the hospital and fundraising, until Max threatened to fire her if she didn't stay at the hospital and practice medicine. She certainly knows the financial realities of running New Amsterdam.
  7. S01.E10: Six or Seven Minutes

All through this episode I kept thinking that, if Georgia's pregnancy was so fragile, she was ordered bed rest and no stress, why wasn't she being monitored by her doctor while she waiting to find out whether her husband would live? I guess I'm just a continuity freak.
  8. Jeopardy! Season 35 (2018-2019)

Since the FJ involved someone from Scotland, I, of course, guessed Robert Burns. I was sure I got an asterisk when Alex said "Robert" but was completely deflated when he went on "Louis Stevenson." Sigh.
  9. Season 35 Final Jeopardy Contest

3/5. I finished the week strong.
  10. Jeopardy! Season 35 (2018-2019)

PBS had a great documentary about the Candy Bomber, Gail "Hal" Halvorsen, who is still alive and still dropping candy, which is how I knew the answer.
  11. Jeopardy! Season 35 (2018-2019)

Rhonda. You know, Rhonda Fonda. And her daughter And, of course, Kit Fonda.
  12. S00E156: Resolution (New Year's Day 2019)

This. I kept wondering why the Doctor cared whether the Dalek got a message out. The Daleks already know where Earth is and most certainly know that it is protected by the Doctor. They ain't going to mess with another invasion, no matter what the scout told them.
  13. Season 35 Final Jeopardy Contest

Week 16: 3/5 Sorry to be late again. I don't have access to this forum unless I'm at work. I'll be on time next week (although my score so far is bleak). I watched Jeopardy Monday at a New Year's Eve party. I told my friends about the contest so they wouldn't shout out the answer to FJ and they all wondered how we could be sure that people were accurately reporting their scores. I told them that I trust the honor of the people in this forum and I do. Jeopardy fans don't cheat!
  14. Bumping this because CBS is showing the ceremony tonight.
  15. Season 35 Final Jeopardy Contest

    4/5 with a *. A Christmas miracle!
