  1. All Episodes Talk: Crime And Punishment

This is what the oldest daughter has to say... scroll down to her Feb. 8th post. https://m.facebook.com/laci.deckard?fref=nf
  2. Their children are so beautiful. I truly hope they are as happy as they seem and continue to be cherished by their parents as they appear to be now. I hope Jessa and Ben end up only fundie lite and don’t do any of the Pearl nightmare “discipline.” Someone tell Jessa that if they decide to go in a different direction than how she was raised and TLC offers them a show about it, we will watch it! She can be a reality star in her own right and raise her boys better than she was raised. They already seem to be letting the boys watch cartoons and read non-Christian books. Come in, Jessa. Think of all the attention you’d get!
  3. Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

I know this group hates homebirth, but I had a 10 lb 6 oz homebirth baby with a licensed midwife. I was 39 weeks, 6 days with no gestational diabetes. He was healthy and the birth went incredibly smoothly. I had an almost painless recovery and, yes, my vagina is fine. I like the name and the baby is a cutie, but Austin definitely seems like the coldest of all the husbands.
  4. S02.E14: Super Bowl Sunday

I should have caught on to the Randall/Tess flash forward sooner, both because there were a lot of shots of the social worker and focus on her AND because she looked to similar to Beth and child Tess.
  5. S07.E03: Kim & Matt

I had to watch that episode through slits in my fingers like a horror movie. So awkward. From the recap... Reaper [Redacted] New band name! I call it! Thanks, Tara.
  6. S11.E12: The Matrimonial Metric

I loved that they allowed Penny to have a genuinely good personality trait - actually listening to Amy and retaining information about her family and life. I was so worried they would take that away somehow, but they let it be known that Penny is a good friend to Amy.
  7. All Episodes Talk: Crime And Punishment

I found a few articles that mentioned Katie’s history of deception in her relationship with Adam, including this one...
  8. Jill & Derick Dullard: Counting On (Donations)

In response to one of her recent Instagram posts, she had a discussion with a fan who asked about finding time to connect with her husband with two small children. Jill mentioned putting Israel in a crib or playpen with a movie on to spend uninterrupted time with Derick. Presented without comment, as I try not to mom shame, but I will say that it didn't sit right with me.
  9. If Jessa wears only skirts, gets no piercings, and leaves her hair long forever, I will still consider it broadening her horizons if her kids are truly as cherished as they seem, if she doesn’t blanket train or hit them, if she continues to let them watch normal media (there was an instagram story of Spurge watching Charlie Brown Thanksgiving), if her kids are allowed to dance and play with non-gender stereotyped toys, if she and Ben continue to make friends with people of other races, and if Ben ends up putting his money where his mouth is when it comes to helping inner city and impoverished kids.
  10. The Duggalos: Jinger and the Holy Goalie

Her Insta-followers are freaking out trying to figure out if this is a pregnancy announcement. I think it’s just a Keep Christ in Christmas type decoration, but I bet she knew it would make people wonder. Also, it has the dreaded misplaced apostrophe.
  11. Did you see this retweet of Ben’s that Pickles has up on her Facebook? I am pro-choice, but I can at least stomach religious pro-life people who put their money where their mouthes are, in terms of supporting pregnant mothers and children once they’re born. In general, I don’t think Ben gets enough credit when he gets lumped in with Derick and Austin. Ben clearly lets Jessa run the show. He is not a “strict head of household” and she does not defer to him. He also likes Christian rap, has real non-Gothard friends, has friends of color, and seems to care about inner city kids. I’m not saying give the guy a medal, but I think Derick and Austin really do run the show in their marriages and see themselves as the lordship over their wives and children. I think Ben is super religious and super naive, but I think he cares more about his perception of the greater good of the world than D and A, who care about their egos. Also, Jessa tagged that Marketplace Grill restaurant in an Instagram post, and they offer TWO free kids meals per one adult meal ordered, so I’m sure that’s why the Duggars started going all the time in the first place. They are all about freebies.
  12. The Duggalos: Jinger and the Holy Goalie

I tend to like the Vuolos, at least as much as I can like any Duggar couple, but this post reminded me of you all and the idea of Jeremy loving Jeremy. He’s talking about Jinger, but based on the photo, the joke of him talking about himself instead is too easy not to make!
  13. S06.E06: The Midwife's Tale

It’s not great, but it definitely feels more like its old self this season.
  14. S02.E05: Existential Crisis

I didn't even think the dog story was supposed to be funny. I thought it was supposed to be completely over the top horrifying and another good reminder of why Eleanor ended up the way she is. I gasped and cringed when her mother told her that she would be annoyed with her if she was sad.
  15. These kids are undeniably adorable. I’ll give her that!
