  1. S06.E13: A Whistling Nostril and a Ball Of Fire

I just realized Tammy wasn't in the episode. Didn't miss her at all.
  2. The Masked Singer

She's singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. That's gotta be a pretty sweet paycheck, especially since they had trouble getting acts this year.
  3. S03.E10 The Last Seven Weeks

It's too bad I'm doing Dry January because a drinking game for this show would be perfect: drink every time someone says "Babe." Just on Kate alone I probably could have gotten a good buzz. Then we hear Zoe say it to Kevin...Beth say it to Randall...if there had been a Rebecca/Jack scene we surely would've heard it from her, too. Hey writers, there *are* other nicknames/terms of endearment. That and Randall's ridiculous and unwanted election win, after being down 4 percentage points with 90% of districts reporting, just killed the episode for me. I'm not the slightest bit intrigued about Uncle Clark Kent. Blah.
  4. S01.E08: This Young Woman Fought Like Hell

On that topic, how many children does Debra have? I went creeping on her Facebook profile and she had a photo of three blonde daughters, none of them Jacquelyn or Terra.
  5. S01.E08: This Young Woman Fought Like Hell

According to the podcast, Terra was going to see Jason Aldean at a local venue that night -- not to an out-of-town music festival. That was one of the fictionalized aspects of the episode, as was (I believe) the Uber driver and his involvement.

  7. S01.E07: Chivalry

Great episode, even if much of it was conjecture. But Jean Smart and even (to a lesser extent) Connie B both had a Minnesota/North Dakota accent going strong and it was super, super distracting. We've heard it from Jean in earlier eps and only if Arlane is from up there does that make any sense.
  8. Well. I think Andrea's finale spot should have been Destane's. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who found Amanda's theatrics annoying AF. I was happy Tina won. I've never heard of Sherry Yard but girlfriend needs a stylist if she's going to be on TV. I didn't like the way she practically cackled with glee while explaining all the things that could go wrong during the semifinal technical challenge.
  9. I think Lerome got too hung up on representing his daughters and could have won if he'd focused instead on wowing the judges. None of those cakes had any "wow" factor. Nancy and Lorraine seemed to both find his cake the tastiest of the three. I was puzzled as to why the judges couldn't taste the orange in Douglas' cake, with its zest, juice, and liqueur in the batter. I made cranberry orange muffins a few days ago with the zest of one orange in the batter and some orange juice in the glaze, and the orange flavor is very bright.
  10. He's hosted a few iterations of the baking championship shows. Prior to that, he was a contributor on Good Morning America for a couple of years. I think he did some sports broadcasting, too. I liked him on GMA and I think he's been a solid host on the baking championships. He largely stays out of the way and doesn't try to call attention to himself as some of the other hosts have. I would say this is the one area where this show is superior to Great American Baking Show, where Spice Adams is absolutely annoying and out of place. (His partner is Baby Spice...presumably they were chosen for their names).
  11. I came here just to post about how annoying Spice Adams was this week. He acts like an overgrown child who wants to come in and lick the bowl and generally pester everyone. I actually miss Nia and Ian. And I, too, find it bizarre that this is filmed in England.
  12. S06.E11: Foot Powder and Five Feet of Vodka

I don't see why they couldn't get married and Adam continues living at Bonnie and Christy's place, which he basically has since Roscoe ceased to exist and Adam took over his room. I'm not looking forward to seeing Bonnie endure another heartbreak.
  13. S06.E11: Foot Powder and Five Feet of Vodka

Me too. I'm surprised the show acknowledged that the group (and the viewers) only know 3 (2) things about Wendy. And unfortunately, they don't seem to be in any rush to remedy that. Is William Fichtner leaving the show? I like Bonnie with Adam so I'm wondering why they are taking their story in this direction.
  14. S01.E08: O Sister, Where Art Thou?

I agree with you, but I've always heard that widowers who were married a long time are quick to pair up again, because they're not accustomed to being alone. Maybe that doesn't apply as much when there's a houseful of kids and grandkids and an endless parade of assorted other relatives -- but I'd be fine with Dan getting together with Katey Sagal's character by the end of the season.
  15. S10.E08: Episode 8

As soon as I saw the product was named "Mother" and they said they were doing shots, I knew it would be ACV. Only, it's not recommended to take it in shots (in fact, it's recommended to dilute and sip through a straw). They were very lucky to get that deal. That pimple thing was SO disgusting. I can't believe there is a market for such a thing. As an investment I would guess it would be on the same level as I Want To Draw A Cat For You. I'm too uncoordinated for BollyX or any dance workout, but I thought it was a great concept and was disappointed Rohan didn't end up offering a deal since he was so obviously interested.
