  1. All Episodes Talk

I really feel like Brittish and Sundy came on this show strictly to start crap. They have no valid reasons for hating on Draya and Malaysia other than the fact that Draya and Malaysia are 10x better women then those two could ever hope to be. I wouldn't be surprised if part of keeping Jackie on the show came with the stipulation that she could have new girls on the show who would side with her. Jackie's just too stupid to realize that these two will never help her clean up her image. All this did was make Draya seem more sympathetic and Jackie just as crazy as before. Draya for the win, as usual! Chantal needs to have several seats. No one outside of her family and the voices in her head have heard of any of her crap businesses, records, etc. Draya will always be a bigger deal than her and I believe Orlando in this situation. I'm sure he took one look at her and realized that one night in the sack with her wasn't worth the lifetime of crazy she'd rain down on his life. Poor guy never saw her still bringing the crazy even though he passed her off coming. The Christie's are like an STD in that way; you can't ever fully be clear of it once they've shown up.
  2. I don't know if its producer driven but, if not, she would be what we like to call "cafeteria Catholic" where they pick and choose what they want to follow of the faith. No judgment on my part about it because I'm not great about following all the tenets of the Catholic faith but stripping would definitely be frowned upon by the Church.
  3. He just posted on Twitter that new episodes will air October 15 at 9:00. I can’t wait! edited to add: looks like the new title might be Good Eats Reloaded. That’s the hashtag he keeps using.
  4. Personally, I think the problem with this guy is the same kind of problem with Moonves, Lauer, etc. He's still being allowed back into places where he has access to victims even though he has a history of being a predator. He worked around kids and his past history of abuse was hidden away and not talked about. He's another symptom of the overall epidemic in our world. Predators are getting multiple shots and are forgiven and coddled while the victims keep getting victimized. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets another role before Munn gets one....
  5. I'm watching the show and so far I kind of like it. There can be some slow parts but I always find it interesting to see the behind the scenes stuff which this show is doing pretty well. I have a feeling things are more cutthroat then they are making it appear on here but whatever. It seems like the remaining episodes are going to get dumped out pretty quickly so I'm guessing that its not doing all that well.
  6. I'm actually excited to watch these two which means, yes, they are probably as boring as hell because I have higher hopes than normal for good entertainment on them, lol.
  7. To be fair, this is the same woman who traveled to a foreign country for the "love of her life" without asking or learning anything about his culture and societal norms. I'm not saying she needs to learn everything but for fuck's sake at least try to educate yourself.
  8. I don't know anything about the house but I thought Darcey kind of intimated that she doesn't have at least residential custody of her kids in the first season she aired on. She made a comment about how she only has her kids every other weekend or something but they got to stay with her the week or so before she left for Amsterdam. I could be way off on this but I really do think I remember something like this happening.
  9. The Spanish Princess

In case anyone is interested, here's a link to a site that discusses the costumes for The Spanish Princess. They don't have too many pictures but I am looking forward to it. http://www.frockflicks.com/the-spanish-princess-katherine-of-aragons-wedding-gown/
  10. All Episodes Talk: Keeping It Spicy

I ended up making the gumbo and it was really good. It took awhile for the roux to get dark and I ended up getting a blister on my finger but I think it’s because I didn’t have the oil hot enough. I had to make a few tweaks as some of the ingredients I don’t have access to (file seasoning) and some I didn’t have at home (green peppers) but it still turned out really good. It wasn’t hard at all. I made sure to do the prep work beforehand and had the chicken done before I needed it because I was trying to do it all by myself. I had a few moments of fear that it wasn’t going to turn out because the roux part wasn’t blending like I thought it would but it ended up blending in the end. I’d definitely do this recipe again but I might cheat and get a pre-made roux.

Yeah, I’m not convinced about the potato salad in the gumbo either. It all looked really good though!
  12. All Episodes Talk: Keeping It Spicy

I just watched the episode that aired this morning with the chicken gumbo. I thought it looked so good. Thinking I might try to make it this weekend.
  13. I haven’t finished all the episodes myself either but I am finding this series so compelling. It’s not something I can sit and binge watch because it’s so heavy but I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s fascinating to watch these guys explain their version of events juxtaposed with the stories of the families of the victims and the detectives/officers who worked on the case. Justin, so far, is the only one who I think didn’t get a fair look at what happened. Some of the later episodes I’ve watched I’ve found myself less sympathetic but they all have some really compelling aspects that leave you wondering how or why things played out the way they did in the court system. It’s fascinating from start to finish on each episode.
  14. No I don’t, lol. My comment though was more for us and our ability to compare the girl in the picture to the one who showed up. I don’t know that they showed us a picture we could look at and actually tell if there were braces or not. I’m positive Ricky wasn’t concerned with teeth.
  15. Not a lawyer here, lol. I don't however think TLC did that simply because they never showed her before he showed up. All other mates have been shown before the American arrives to meet them but we didn't get that with Ricky. I don't think the blonde he met is the same one he's been texting. Not sure if its the same girl in the pictures or not but I don't think the person who's been texting him is the same girl he met up with. He did mention that he never noticed she had braces in her pictures before so it may not be the same girl. I can't remember if any of the pictures they've shown us had her in a wide toothy smile.
  16. S20.E12: Nominations #4

Sam really fell hard for me in the like department. My heart broke for Hayleigh in her DR interview after the nominations. She never should’ve been made to feel that way and the shame on her face was so crushing. She has done nothing wrong and has done nothing to be ashamed of and I can’t understand why Sam ever thought that was okay. I don’t even have words for how awful what she did is.
  17. Has anyone heard about an air date for Alton's Return of the Eats show? I'm trying to keep an eye out for it but I don't watch a ton of FN so I am afraid I might miss its debut.
  18. I watched the most recent episode last night with GZ and, quite frankly, I didn't see him doing a whole lot of cooking at the very end. Even the camera was mostly focused on his one sous chef. You could see GZ wandering around in the background asking the other chef questions and then wandering back to his front station. It was weird. The one sous chef seemed to do most of the work (I think he did the lion's share of that pasta dish cooked like a pie (sorry can't remember the name of it). I wasn't terribly awed by what he created either.
  19. I have been so saddened by Anthony’s passing. I feel like I grew up with him and learned so much about travel and food because of him. My husband I have traveled to Europe many times and it’s in many ways because of Tony that I was willing to venture off the beaten path and to try street food. I always dreamed of having a job like his and lived vicariously through him by watching his show. I always wanted to hang out with him and thought how cool it must’ve been to be his friend. I trusted him and valued his thoughts and opinions. I always vigorously defended him and praised his show to anyone who doubted the quality and genius in him. I never knew him but I felt like I did because of how open and honest he was about his flaws and history. He made it cool to love food and to love travel and to talk about it. He will be missed for a very long time by millions of people because he was an advocate FOR people, flaws and all. I wish the demons had remained in the past because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to someone I never knew but who impacted my life anyway. I hope he’s found peace now.
  20. The new season will start on July 16 at 9:00 central. http://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/southern-charm-savannah-season-2-premiere-date-trailer
  21. S03.E03: Bad Vibrations

I think, for me at least, this is why I dislike Sandy this season. It seems like she's still a little hurt/bitter about what happened last season and is taking it out on Hannah this go round. If Sandy has that much of an issue about what happened last season then either she shouldn't have come back or she needed to deal with it off camera before this season filmed. I don't disagree that Hannah has made mistakes and at times should've done more but some of what Sandy has yelled at Hannah for isn't really her fault and would never have escalated to the point it has if it what happened last season hadn't happened. Conrad's mistake was huge and she made a little comment about it and moved on. That's how I think Sandy would've handled what has happened with Hannah this season if last season either hadn't happened or had been dealt with already. So its hard for me to enjoy watching her when it seems like she's much harsher towards Hannah than she is towards the other staff members. I don't say this to protect Hannah or even because I feel bad for Hannah. I just don't really care to see Sandy work through what happened last season on this season. I don't care and it's kind of not my problem. It's like I'm a charter guest and I shouldn't have to see that side of things, know what I mean? I want to watch the current season and see what happens this season not worry who still has hurt feelings about last season. If it must be addressed then do a little scene where Sandy and Hannah talk it out and move on. I don't need the petty Sandy and Hannah stuff. Besides, I thought Adam behaved just as bad if not worse and Sandy doesn't seem to be bitter towards him. If you can move past it for one than move past it for another or don't come back. JMHO.
  22. I watched the second chance thing and it wasn't very good. Neither of the two participants from MAFS came off looking better. In fact, they ended up looking a lot worse. Honestly, the reunion was the only entertaining part to me because the girls really gave it to David for his behavior and phoniness.
  23. Shahs in the Media

I agree. I kept wondering if it actually would happen so much that I never gave the when or where a thought. That said, I am happy for them. I believe Tommy is a good person for MJ and I do believe he really does love her and isn't in it for the fame or whatever.
  24. Ryan

I watched his new show and it was okay. Ryan comes across as a lot more tender hearted than he does on Million Dollar Listing and I really think this shows him closer to who he really is in normal life. That said, the show is a little cheesy and I wouldn’t be surprised if it always works out in the end. I’m going to watch the next episode because it looked like it had the potential to showcase a little more humor but I’m not sure how many more episodes I’ll watch.
