    Jill Jill Jill... (I'm late, I know... but wow 😐)

    Oh, Marigold, how I had missed your snark (especially on this thread :D ).

    Not that I disagree with what you wrote, but Jill most likely isn't really asking for tips. Asking questions like that is a classic way of trying to generate more traffic/activity on one's social media account. In some instances (like sponsored posts), the more likes and comments a post gets, the more money the person will receive (I am not 100% familiar with how it works, but that's the gist).

    Girl you cracked me up 😂😂😂

    I'm always fascinated by discussions on middle names since it's not a thing in my culture - I'm sure some people do give their child a middle name, but it seems to be the exception rather than the norm. And yes, we do just fine :D I like my name (Amélie). Unfortunately it gets butchered both by anglohones (''Ah-may-lee'' does not compute) and francophones (I usually get called Émilie - my mom blames the immensely popular 90s TV series ''Les Filles de Caleb'' for that). I think that's partly why I personally try to make a conscious effort to get/pronounce someone's name right (or as well as I can), especially if it's unusual to my ears.

    If that is her picture (most probably), then this is yet another food photography fail. She really has no clue.
  7. The Duggalos: Jinger and the Holy Goalie

    The discussion on maternal mortality in the US reminded me of this article I read some time ago. Very interesting, but also quite alarming and infuriating - not to mention incredibly sad. It broke my heart. https://www.npr.org/2017/05/12/527806002/focus-on-infants-during-childbirth-leaves-u-s-moms-in-danger To get back on topic - I like the name they chose. Classic yet not too common (just like my name :D ). I wasn't expecting anything weird or overly religious from those two anyway.
  8. LOL! Loved it XD Also, I love Abbie's sister's wedding dress! Very pretty and elegant. I like its simplicity.

    I'll pass.

    That is so important indeed. And congratulations!!
  11. Well, save me an express pass to hell but damn... Look at that gene pool.
  12. All Episodes Talk: Consultants' Meeting

    The Canadian version also has little to no drama, from what I've seen anyway (I've watched episodes here and there from seasons 1 and 2). Very refreshing. What struck me the most is how the gowns are filmed, both in the dressing room and in front of the entourage: we get to actually see them! Love that. Sounds silly, but seriously. Compare this with the Kleinfeld version as it is now, with the excessive focus on the brides' backstories and the constant camera pans on the ridiculous antics of the entourages... Ugh :X

    I was puzzled at first by Cathy speaking of ''these seven'' in her caption. Had forgotten Deena is pregnant. Don't want to open a can of worms but I have to say I'm weirded out by Cathy referring to them as a group of seven, not six.

    I definitely agree with this (Jenna Marbles comes to mind), but this is the Dullards we're talking about so yeah... hard pass.

    @Churchhoney Interesting! Thank you.
